Nah let's be real here. There's hundreds of survivors in the Washington dc and philladelphia region. There's even more in former Georgia. I'm Fear there's even more in Mexico and alot in and around texas. I'd say there's about 100,000 people to 200,000 people left in the USA. At least a few hundred doctors and nurses in that large a number. I'd betting across the whole planet there's maybe 50 million people left. The US would have feel harder than say Europe or Africa or Australia. Europe has lots of moderately populated islands like Ireland, Sicily, Cyprus, Iceland, Malta whixh wouldn't deal with zombies roaming from other regions. Also Europe has lots of old buildings and forts etc that can be used to set up colonies that can't be swarmed just like in medieval times. Africa has alot of isolated and primitive tribal people who would be far enough from the urban areas to be less affected. Australia and Russia have lots of empty land to flee into. Humanity is far from extinct in this universe. I can bet the show will end a few decades in the future where new nations have formed and the millions of survivors are in contact over radio and satellitex rebuilding an industrial style world. 250 years later we'd be back in the billions and advanced to a 2pth century level. The world is far from over in twd. Modern society is somewhat intact in hilltop and alexandria like places. It would be hard to actually send humanity back to the stone age as out technology and knowledge would live on in the survivor's as the show is proving us

Yeah he had some insane/sadistic qualities like bashing skulls, slashing throats, gazing mesmerized at heads he kept in fish tanks but he was very intelligent, charismatic, ambitious, bold, and tough. He was a great leader building a good civilization of people who lead happy lives unlike Negan who ruled through terror with people who were miserable. The Governor before Rick shows up is actually my favorite character in the whole series. He was like Frank Underwood from house of cards ruthless, cunning, power hungry, pragmatic and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. Of course after Rick shows up and Michonne takes away his eye and his hope for his daughter he spirals further and further into insanity and becomes too emotional and vengeful caring less about his power, woodbury, and conquering the world, and starts to care only about killing Michonne, Merle, Rick, and all of the group. I’ll tell you who I’d actually like to have seen lead woodbury after the Governor goes crazy is Martinez. Sure he was less intelligent and charismatic but he was tough, pragmatic, and sane enough to be a good leader. Martinez reminds me of Shane but not going crazy from love or hate.

No, the show just has bad writing and was losing interest, so they thought killing a doctor for shock value would bring people back. This show is garbage after season 2. Just boring ass dialogue, almost no zombies, it’s just Rick and group moving from one place to another, killing everyone off, and they are almost never seen as the villains.

Negan thought he foiled the plot, could he really trust and utilize a doctor who was backstabbing Negan? Also Dwight's wife story made no sense.
