I have never had a negotiation go this way.... Rates right now are so low that my carriers don't even want to take any of the loads. I've seen .14 cents, 90 cents, $1.08 and the highest that I've seen is $2.09 per mile. I just saw a load from Washington state to Chicago paying $500 for a partial load and that was their excuse. Where are you finding these higher paying loads?
