Neighbor Threatens Eldery Couple For Overgrown Lawn

Жыл бұрынAfter the deadly tornado in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2020, many homes were left with extensive damage and debris. An elderly couple, facing difficulties with maintaining their property, found themselves amidst the chaos. They not only lost trees and a car but were also without power for days due to damaged power lines. Their house, located at the back of the neighborhood, was among the last to be cleaned and had an overgrown backyard. I noticed their unkempt lawn while mowing another yard in the neighborhood and felt compelled to help. I went to their door and offered to mow their lawn for free. They were grateful for my kindness, and I was glad to bring a little beauty back to their yard. Here's a video of my efforts to help the community.

@@karenosolin6061 I moved to an apartment after I lost both my parents and brother within 4 years. I had them living with me so I could take care of them, they could care for each other while I worked at my corporate job. Plus I had my sister-in-law (RN) and my nephew. Nephew got married and it was just my sister-in-law and myself. No matter what was going on, I took care of my lawn!!! But the neighborhood changed for the worse and we didn't feel safe anymore. So we moved. Three dogs and a cat too!!! I'm still in that apartment. I MISS my yard work!!!!

Thank you for treating this senior citizen with grace and kindness. So many seniors are very hesitant to reach out to someone they do not know because they are fearful someone will hurt them or take advantage of them. You gave them back their yard and their safety. Thank you!

What a gift you have given this owner! Hundreds of trees and wild hedge cut and removed. This would have cost them thousands of dollars. I hope they truly appreciated what you did and they have someone to maintain it. It’s a beautiful job!

Totally amazing. Instead of threatening these elderly people as neighbors. How about an hands up and help them. When I lived in a non rural neighborhood I would mow 4 different houses next to me. It's called community pride. He should try it

That was beyond imressive. When you took the tour in the beginning, I estimated 1 day for the front and 5 more for the back. I wasn't too far off, it appears. I can't remember any other lawn transformations on KZfaq that took this much time or effort. You spruced up the front yard and reclaimed a back yard from a jungle. Kudos aplenty!

This has got to be the granddaddy of overgrowth cleanup.I watch these tall grass/overgrowth videos all the time and this one has been mind blowing every minute of the way. I too watch a number of lawn cutting videos and I truly believe that you rate up there with SB mowing, Top Notch and the Boring channels as the number one’s in my book. I also don’t understand how you can only have so few subscribers compared to the likes of Al Blades who has a million and doesn’t do nearly as neat and complete a job as you do. It was hard work, after the wonderful transformation, it would have been nice to see the reaction of the owners.

That was so nice of you to do this yard for the elderly couple.Do they not have any family that could have helped them.instead of the neighbor being nasty they should have offered too help them.May God bless you and your family always 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I will never understand how neighbors can just sit by doing nothing but complain knowing elderly people need help . What kind of effort does it take to just help with a lawn. What would they do if it was their parents? You are a Godsend kind sir...and shame on those neighbors for not at least trying to help.
