You could try knocking a couple of inches off the base of those vines, Jason. Works with ivy too. Couple of weeks and the top growth dies making it easy to pull off. Then just machet out the root base. No herbicides necessary.

Lizard runs out from under house, sees no long grass left! Although the handsome lawnie is nice to look at, he also holds the machine of destruction; lizard runs back under house 🤣🤣 This episode was definitely a ‘holy overgrown smokes!’ situation and it’s amazing how you tackled it!! Great job, Jason!💪💪👍👍 Now go get some rest!

25:41, the yard is regaining space, becoming much more usable and getting it's views back. Nice work. I am wondering if the ivy, once dead and dry, could be burned off with a torch, or might just loosen from being dry and could be pried off.... That patio wasn't easy. Lost edge, stubborn plants in the cracks, dirt. You did well recovering it.

grouse work Jason mate i loved the work you did and with the before and after results yep a true work of art from a good Lawn Cutting Legend for sure plus those weeds or woody little peckers yep either way it has a good nailing order to it as we gotta hammer them somehow too and yep hopefully those horrible things will get what,s coming to them for sure and i loved the work in the long thick overgrown stuff and of course finding the odd brick here and there and yep your not the only one to find the odd brick or too as from memory i also who live here in Regional Victoria i have found well either a brick or a rock when trimming grass and weeds too and all the more reason to dig in there and of course find them and avoid serious damage to a mowers crankshaft or shearing the flywheel key too yep and some people often don,t think about those ones from memory i reckon but yeah as they say prevention is much better than a cure which is often a costly one depending on the impact etc and yep i don,t blame you at all on the crook feeling part as i also was feeling a tad unwell recently too mainly a sore throat and a bit of the sticky mucus or phlegm and sinuses that were clogged with material in there yep and luckily i,m feeling way better already for sure just thinking about that one too and well it is our Winter/Flu season after all now and the key is to look after ourselves and avoid getting crook for sure and yep even our mothers and fathers probably all got something very similar too but yeah luckily very treatable now days which is a good bonus as we have good options from well chesty cough medicines to well Vicks and Throat Treatments too and yep a true miracle for sure and yep lovely stuff and as for those weeds who were in that yard well they got a good dose of their medicine for sure and yep hopefully those annoying little bastards won,t come back for sure as we all know them with the weed medicine killers and all but yeah i,m not too fond of using them personally but if you want to use them well i say go for it and nail them like a bacterial nest and they are roasted for sure in the end and well as for the way you felt and described to us in the end yep i truly believe what you said and you looked like you were almost about to collapse in the heat but yeah a good soak and a glass of something to get the fluids back up and good rest will make it like a paradise feeling for sure i reckon cheers mate and i wish you all the best from Grovedale Victoria Australia to your area.

Yes. I sprayed the vines to make sure they don't grow back. I visited the property three times again after I did this job that to make sure they don't grow back. Spraying Vines takes a couple of treatments.

Was that videoed quite a while ago, Jason? I couldn't believe the temperature! I sure hope you are getting better now. Did you do a Covid test? It can last for ages unfortunately, or its effects can. You did a great job on this place. Honestly, ivy is such a scourge! I'm not a fan of sprays but I understood your logic totally. It's got to be killed right down into the roots. However that can take more than one go. Anyway, great job and hope you're feeling fit as a fiddle now or soon.
@aaronclareyloveshr691814 күн бұрын
@'Was that videoed quite a while ago,Jason'... It had to have been because the temperature in the middle of July in Australia (Winter there mind you) is around 20 degrees tops during winter and mostly between around 12-18 during. This definitely would've been between December & February.
