I was very impressed with the quality of this tool. NEIKO 6” caliper review after 3 years ownership. Very handy tool indeed. For the money, you can’t go wrong. I never keep it in its carrying case, which I know is wrong.. but I use it to often! Inside-Outside-Depth measurements. Great for Homeowners-Shops-Garages-Hobbyist.

Good review. I use whatever I got from O'Reilly when I had 3 batteries laying around. They gave me $ 30 credit for 3 core batteries I didn't need. Thank you Kev.

Have you checked it for accuracy like with calibration blocks ect, you can get this days realy good ones for cheap that are accurate to 0.001mm 🤗 I have bought a couple and testet from other brands and they have Ben very very accurate, without this kind of check are reviews for my useless.

@@WaschyNumber1Very true … Nothing I do currently needs perfect precision.. However the Micrometer I used to check my Digital Caliper is spot on calibration wise. My dad was a machinist for 40 plus years and was big on calibration and calibration blocks. Great points! Thanks!

@@Kevscancave I'm too a Student Machinist but early retired becourse of an accident that have nothing to do with machining stuff and also a incurable illness that makes strong pain all over the body, flare-ups very horrible some times and other days it is bearable.

I have 4 “cheap” calipers, only 3 still have battery doors on them. 😀👍🏼

I have this thing and it confuses the hell out of me. I’m a fairly new reloader and as of now I practice on 9mm ammo. Long story short, my measurement that I need is 1.169” but this thing has digits setup as 0.0000. So how would the measurement 1.169 look on this caliper when there is four zeros after the decimal??? My first assumption was that it gives numbers backwards so it would be 1.0169” but I’m not too sure. It’s my first time using this tool.

Great question Chris. 👍It has an extra digit to break it down even more. 1.1690 I would zero it … then see what your constant readings are on “known” bullets. Maybe you could get a digital caliper with less of a readout? I’m not using mine for anything too critical. Thanks for your comment …and take it easy! 👍😎👍
