There are plenty of people like him, they are the teachers at school, college and university who we remember fondly throughout our lives. They inspire us and because of their talent for teaching others some of their pupils go on to lives studying a subject and encouraging others to do the same. Good teachers deserve more credit and pay in society. Without them we would not know a lot of what we do now. Richard Feynman, Brian Cox, James Burke and others now and in the past have shown the same talent for encouraging us to listen, learn and progress.

@@mikemccormick6128 For what reason would Elon be taught about in History class, do you imagine?
@mikemccormick6128
@mikemccormick6128 3 ай бұрын
@@IAMNIVERSE Yes, because he is changing the world. The only reason why the major manufactures are moving to electric vehicles is because they have to in order to not get left behind. If Tesla did not exist, then no major auto manufacturers would be going electric. Also, without Elon, Tesla would have failed. Tesla succeeded because of his vision. He is also changing the world by making reusable rockets that land instead of falling into the ocean. this is making access to space extremely affordable. Underground tunnels haven’t caught on yet, but I’m hoping they will because I believe they are a brilliant idea and could potentially revolutionize transportation if the idea catches fire. He is also making humanized robots and implanting computer chips into people’s brains. He is very much on the cutting edge.
@IAMNIVERSE
@IAMNIVERSE 3 ай бұрын
@@mikemccormick6128 I agree with a lot of what you mentioned (I'm surprised you mentioned the tunnels company because no one does), but he's not actually making anything, he's giving money to creators of cool things and taking credit--big difference, historically speaking. There are non-famous people/companies doing things that he is the frontman for, such as sy chron (which may arguably be better than neu alink, I'm not sure).

This is what worries me. It seems there are very few, if any people… following his footsteps. When he is gone from this earth, I fear that we will have nobody to replace him and therefore… Be an earth left without critical thinkers. People who don’t just go with the flow, but question everything to get the correct answer. Not just the right answer for the right people. Which is a very scary prospect. Are people even going into the science field anymore? engineering, yes. But you don’t hear about many people making science their major. It seems everybody wants to be famous or infamous. Very few of those critical thinkers left. Because they are letting the establishment think for them. While they figure out ways to become rich and buy the things they want to buy. Which is worrisome for the future.

I get annoyed when I see people who are known only as celebrities or performers asked their opinions on politics, economics, science etc. Only fools listen to these modern jesters on such matters. But in the modern world it seems people are more and more focused on what entertains them rather than what will educate them. No im not a killjoy I enjoy being entertained as much as anyone. But I don’t see why I should listen to an entertainer, a model etc about things they know little about. You wouldn’t go to a doctor if your car won’t start so why ask a celebrity about academic subjects?

Nobody is perfect we all have variations in the way we pronounce words depending on where we live, who we grew up with, our class etc. Some Americans pronounce the word leisure as leizure which to my British ears sounds off just as Americans say zee for the letter Z but Brits say zed 😊.
