at first i thought i wasn’t going to like Astarion… but he really grew on me. In my opinion he has the best character arc in the game, he is the most advanced companion i have ever seen in a video game ever. Astarion / Neil Newborn raised the bar to the highest level. I believe you deserve an Emmy Award for your performance. and you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. i also wanted to say that i believe that Neil Newborn could be acting in hollywood movies. i think the sky is the limit with your personality. and you are very entertaining on camera.

One of the things I love so much about BG3, which was totally unexpected for me, is how inclusive it is, something you don't always see in the gaming community. There is, unfortunately, a lot of sexism and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric that comes from a certain demographic of gamers who are quite vocal in their hate. It's *incredibly* refreshing that Larian not only had zero intentions of pandering to that bullsh*t, but through BG3, they celebrate the women and LGBTQ+ folks in this community. The fact that the VAs have been incredibly vocal in their support as well, some as allies, some as a direct part of these respective communities, is also so very much appreciated and one of the reasons so many people love and appreciate you Neil. As a (cis) woman gamer, who has been gaming for years, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you, the writers, and the rest of the cast and crew for making such an incredible piece of inclusive art. Seriously, bravo!

I adore the community that's cropped up around you and Baldur's Gate 3. I've never been good at making friends, online or otherwise, but I've made so many good friends in the last few months through Twitch chat, TikTok, Instagram, and everywhere else. And since I've had a really bad year with my health, these streams and the highlights have been a real pick-me-up and serotonin boost in an otherwise really dark place. Lots of love! All I can really bring to the history table is how incredibly fucked the CIA was during the Cold War; in the office, guys would literally spike each other’s coffee with LSD as a joke. While I’ve never personally done LSD, I’ve seen people on it and if you go in without knowing, it can be absolutely terrifying.
