Brilliant response by Neil Atkinson. If the French authorities along with UEFA demonstrated the same honest and articulate rhetoric we would all be in a better place with regard to this shambolic debacle.

I've said this a couple times now but as a spectator who couldn't attend live, hearing what was happening on television for me absolutely deflated my excitement for the match. What should have been a momentous occasion was quickly swallowed up by concern for our fans and anger for their treatment.
