If BeamNG is starting to open up in terms of collaborations then I think they should do one with SCS Software for 0.30, a truck-centric update that remasters the T-Series, adds a modern American semi, and an ETK Eurocab (perhaps based on the New Actros and/or the TGX). I personally think with how the new details aren't being applied to the T-Series (stick animations, interactable items in the cockpit, etc) but they did add a WIP hydraulic system for the dump bed upfit then it's a no brainer that they're doing something for the T-Series in the future.

In reference to the car starting at 5:57 - Bathurst 1000 race held in Bathurst, NSW AU at the Mt Panorama circuit. They've been racing utes there for a while (top speed on the main drag about 300 kmh / 190 mph, give or take) and found that a solid tailgate is better aerodynamically for the utes than no tailgate or some kind of slotted tailgate. All about the vortices formed in the tray making the overall shape of the vehicle (according to the airflow) quite aerodynamic.

7:33 Have you noticed that the rear stop sign's (the one closest to the axle) leading edge is exposed to the dirt if it should meet the dirt? That'll plow right in instead of gliding over...

A sick thing in 0.3 would for sure be like quads or mud trucks, etc. . And a propper mudding map as well as better mud physics (or even new ground physics for it, so you actually have like deep mud)

It's amazing how quickly you can create those CGI thumbnails to such a high quality when the content has only just come out! Honestly super impressive, even with early access. I got backlash last time I pointed out the thumbnails from people assuming it's real gameplay. It's not, and that's not a criticism, it takes a lot of work to make these renders. I know they're renders because they have raytraced reflections with the cars reflecting their own bodywork, casting soft shadows, accurate global illumination, and a ton of other sure signs of a path traced render.

That fact that ukdrifter the guy that basically joined every initial camodo and Neal beam mp episode is one of the first supporters of the channel has quite the charm to it

This update is quite fun, I like the new Lansdale and drove a few versions. The new Piccolina is terrible, the Covets are fun. I missed the Bolide, gotta try that next time. I would like to see a modern double decker bus in the style of Setra one day in BeamNG. The company is from Germany, so they should have some experience with those buses. They also need manual versions.

I really would love to see a midwestern map from maybe pennsylvania or ohio. similar to east coast usa but a little more dense and some more things to do, new prop buildings and houses, i would also love to see a modern pickup trucks and suv, maybe could be a return of the burnside name

they should make a quad bike where you can drive the port a potty

Im more happy with the 2.0/2.5l water cooled f4, with twin turbo for the autobello and the minivan + (new tires ?) than anything else for 0.29. I like offroad but that i didn't .

i like the 90's dodge caravan they did good on making it look real.

They really need to figure out how to make dust and smoke more dynamic already. Always weird seeing dust clouds pass through the cars interior

The porta potty does have a button for the door. You need to switch to the potty first to be able to get the button.

I made a Lansdale config after our minivan, a 2.5 crd (diesel) Chrysler Voyager in black with the tinted windows. I love that a freaking minivan was added to the game. Looking forward to the Lansdale vid.

In 0.3 I would love a NASCAR collab where they take muscle/sports cars like the bastion and make a NASCAR stock car version of them.

I wonder why the diesel off-road version of the scintilla isn’t technically also considered an “unofficial” gambler 500 configuration because it already uses scrap parts (it’s painfully obvious in the vehicle’s description because it started out as a supercar that was wrecked in an accident but eventually rebuilt into the off-road monstrosity that it is) welded together and a 6.0L diesel from the D-series (?) shoehorned into it anyway, and it’s still street legal.

I really hope BeamNG implement proper terrain deformation physics... it would be really awesome! Water physics like the new unreal engine fluid flux engine would be really awesome too, specially considering the success of BeamNG flood maps
