I am comparing the two NEJE laser modules with 7W and 20W each. The lasers are tested with the same setting. I am totally surprised by the results.

schönes, hilfreiches Video! Was ist das für eine Halterung für die beiden Laser an der CNC Führung, an der du die Laser so schnell demontieren kannst? Ich suche tatsächlich nach sowas, um verschiedene Extruder oder Laser am Ender 3 V2 schneller zu wechseln. Würde mir weiterhelfen wenn ich weiß wo man sowas herkriegt :) Grüße

Hi, die Halterung ist ein Element der Neje Laser Baureihe. Diese habe ich nicht extra gekauft. Das gesamte System ist der Neje Master Laser den Du bei Ebay Oder Amazon kaufen kannst. Ob es die Halterung auch separat zu kaufen gibt kann ich Dir leider nicht beantworten. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin

Thanks for this! I own a 7w NEJE and a 20w rigged to a '3018' type controller, that I bought through BG and it arrived not working, because of the cheap Chinese board. Since getting my 20w working, there is a noticible Halo around the focused beam, of around 15mm diameter at +30mm Z distance. I actually bought a lens with decent coated optics and I'll swap the supplied lenses from the existing 20w and report back if there's any noticible difference. My 7w is exceptionally good for a deep burn or even cutting, as you've shown here but the 20w _should_ be lots more intense if good optics are used, and the Laser chip itself isn't 'soiled' 🙄

@@T_aus_B_an_der_Spree If you go onto www.aliexpress.com/i/33003518067.html there's a number of choices, offering multiple lens arrangements with varying quality of coating. Most reasonable quality M9 P.05 Threaded Collimating Lenses will do the job. I've also ordered a Multi-Coated, Multi-Lens Collimating Lens for my 20 W Chinese rig, using a 3018 board as its controller. Limit switches are a pain in the @r$3 and need good quality crimping tools to terminate the necessry cabling to mod it to work with the existing limit switches, but bypassing the proprietory Cheap-Chinese interface, that wont work for love nor money!

Hey man, quick question. I'm thinking of getting the 7w one, and I was thinking if it could engrave my matte black zippo lighter? I don't wanna engrave the metal, just the paint so that I can see the design of the metal underneath. Will the effect be good? Many thanks!

Tobias we have engraved the included metal plate that was also painted black. So the color lasered away. It worked without any problems. The metal under the paint was clearly visible. Nevertheless, you should always do a small test.

Interessanter Vergleich....mit welcher Software arbeitest Du. Sind die Linsen denn identisch? Könnte mir vorstellen das auf Grund der Laserleistung diese nicht gleich sind. Nutze selber einen 15W Laser.

Ich arbeite mit der Neje Software am Mac. Die Linsen sind nicht identisch gewesen. Weiterhin sind das die Module die jeweils eine Leistungsaufnahme von 7W oder 20W haben. Die Laserleistung ist geringer. 7W=2,5W Laserleistung 20W=5,5W Laserleistung. Bei dem 20W Modul hatte ich von Anfang an probleme mit der Linse. Hi there, Yes, it is. Neje Master 2 is really a very good device. This is still the old module. That had problems. The new devices are recommended. But please make sure that you buy the "Master2" series.

Hallo Tobi, da ich zur Zeit nur den Neje Laser habe, kann ich sagen dass er mir gut gefällt und man damit einiges machen kann. Ich würde aber nicht das 20W Lasermodul kaufen, es sei denn man will damit etwas ausschneiden. 7W ist total okey. Ich habe mir einen anderen Laser bestellt und werde die beiden vergleichen, sobald der andere Laser angekommen ist.

@@SoulStudioBerlin danke für deine schnelel Antwort. Ne schneiden eher nicht würd eher Bilder auf holz gravieren und namen in gläser so in die Richtung. Bei Neje steht ja der 3500mw eher für bilder. am besten aber den 7w kaufen und die leistung runterdrehen müsste doch funktionieren seh ich das richtig? auf das vergleichsvideo freu ich mich :)

@@tobiok4063 - das 3,5 Modul hatte ich leider nicht. Aber natürlich kann man die Leistung runter drehen. Aber die angegebene Leistung bei Neje bezieht sich nicht auf den Laser, sondern auf die Leistungsaufnahem des Moduls. Das 7 Watt Modul hatte glaube ich 2,5 Watt Laserleistung und das 20 Watt Modul 5,5 Watt Laserleistung. Ich hatte da ein Video veröffentlicht, dass die Module mit ihren Leistungen kennzeichnet.

I have two Neje engravers and I have been satisfied with their performance so long. My first was the Neje Master 7 that came with that 7 Watt module. Second one was 2S Plus with N40630 module. Then I have upgraded the mall. I have now N30820 with air assist on my Master 7 with air assist and I have Neje 3 Plus board on my 2S Plus and air assist and emergency stop and two relays. When I got 30 Watt module with my 2S Plus I was so glad while speed increased way more. I could do shorter exposure and would finish few times faster same jobs. Then I have upgraded little one with this module. Later on I have measured power consumption during engraving. I do not have laser output meter so consumption was all I could measure. Both 20/5.5 Watt module and 7/2.5 Watt modules have what looks like same lens plus all of them have backlash spring that keeps them preloaded to be more consistent when focusing. No rubber rings on them. Actually lens on 30/7.5 Watt module looks just a same to. So I have tested consumption and got that actual power consumption of the 20 Watt module is bit over 23 Watt max and like 20.3 average. Same machine with 7 Watt modul was drawing over 10 Watt's doing same job with same settings on same machine. 30 Watt was measured to but with other board and with shorter exposure hence no real comparation. Still it was drawing about 23 watt constantly. So one would say 20 watt and 30 watt are same but they are not. It is almost impossible to make good comparation even using same machine and same settings. Slight focus and dispersion will make it cut worse. At one moment 7 watt was cutting better then 20 watt module but corrected the focus and things changed in favor of the 20 watt. Even 30 watt out of the perfect focus will do bad job. I guess with laser optical power meter one could measure laser beam strength on different distances and get the maximum value at best focus point and then one could see the real difference. But giving 200 to 300 Euro just for it is bit to excessive for me. Anyhow focus and size of a dot matters a lot. A class lasers have smaller dot and that is advantage. They all also differ in matter how log they keep the beam bundled and what is a shape of the beam. Single diode lasers tend to have right-angle dot and do not keep their focus long distance. Few millimeters only in Z axis. Later on one axis will just go out of focus and it will lose it's power. Dual diode modules have smaller dot and they keep focus bundled longer and those two things matter more than actual doubling the optical power. Beam stays longer in focus and that cuts better. There is a new E80 module that is supposer to carry 4 diodes and I can't wait to see it in the action. One thing only, stronger is not always better. Sure we all want more power it is human thing but even 10 Watt output lasers can outrun speed of the machine and on some materials engraving will be worse and you will need to lower down the power to the levels of the single diode laser module anyhow. So know your needs and buy accordingly. If budget is no matter knock yourself out.

Hätte da mal eine Frage, kann es sein, dass ich offensichtlich den Ein- und Ausschaltknopf einfach übersehe? Habe mir den Neje Master 7w gekauft und ich muss ständig das Stromkabel rausziehen, damit er sich ausschaltet? Ich habe den Support angeschrieben und recherchiert, aber nirgends eine Antwort gefunden. (Wahrscheinlich weil es einfach keinen Knopf gibt). Frage deshalb weil es mir einfach unsachgemäß vorkommt, dass Teil einfach vom Netz zu nehmen?! Im Vorhinein wollte ich Dir noch sagen, dass ich wirklich viele Videos zum Thema Neje-Engraving gesehen habe und Deine bei weitem die besten sind!!! Mach weiter so - bin gespannt, welches Video als nächstes kommt!

If you have the opportunity to test, I would do a test with low settings. With low settings you can repeat the engraving if it is not strong enough. If the settings are too high, the engraving may look burnt. I would start with a maximum of 10% laser power and 10 milliseconds burning time. I actually always test before I start engraving on the end product.

Danke Dir für den Test! Sieht bei mir genau so aus mit dem großen Halo um den Fokuspunkt. Das erklärt, warum der 20W "Cutter" nicht cuttet... Es liegt also nicht am Laser, sondern an der Linse. Frage ist nur, was tun? Gibt es Original Neje-Linsen als Ersatzteil?

In diesem Zusammenhang habe ich gerade folgende Info vom 29.12.2019 auf der Neje Supportseite zum 20W Laser gefunden: "The 20W lens has been updated. You don’t need to purchase lens to replace it. The new lens can adapt to engraving and cutting at the same time. The cutting light diameter can be controlled within 0.1mm and 5mm length." Die Linse wurde also upgedated, aber ich muss sie nicht erwerben, um sie auszutauschen?? Wie soll ich denn sonst an die neue Linse kommen, ohne sie zu erwerben? :-D

Did you check the specs on those LDs? The focal lengths are different, I'm betting. Even so, it looks like you're not dialed in right on the second one.

Hello, can I ask a question. I'm looking for a laser that performs the cutting of 1.5mm wood veneer the best. The engraving quality is not as important. Is there a specific model for this sort of objective? thank you

Sarah Wong - Hello Sarah, if you have a PC, you can use the CNC area of the Neje software to cut wood. 1.5 mm shouldn't be a problem. You will need one or two passes. But if you have a Mac, the CNC option is not available.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe am Wochenende nochmal gelasert, bis die Linse glühte. Und ich habe es tatsächlich geschafft, dünnes (!) Sperrholz von 2mm in nur 6 Durchgängen zu schneiden. 4mm Sperrholz habe ich dann bei 25 Durchläufen geschafft.Offenbar ist es so, dass Neje die Spezifikation der 20W Linse zur Angabe des besten Fokus ("best focal length", bisher 10mm von der Linse) geändert hat. Das habe ich erst später gelesen, aber durch Ausprobieren selbst festgestellt. Was habe ich gemacht:- die Linse KOMPLETT reingedreht- der Fokuspunkt lag somit bei etwa 5,4cm und damit unterhalb der Standebene.- Den Laser etwas erhöht aufgestellt und dann auf 2mm Sperrholz gelasert (Oberfläche des Sperrholz lag somit bei 5,2mm Entfernung zur Linse).- Nach 6 Durchgängen war das Brettchen durch, was ein Quantensprung im Vergleich zu meinen bisherigen Versuchen ist.Die Spezifikation von Neje zur "best focal length" spricht mittlerweile von 40mm. Das habe ich noch nicht probiert, werde ich aber als nächstes mal machen. Das erklärt auch, warum die 10mm nur zu erreichen sind, indem man die Linse fast bis zum Rausfallen rauschraubt: Das scheint für diese Linse im 20W-Modul demnach überhaupt nicht vorgesehen zu sein!Probiert es doch auch mal und sagt mir Bescheid.

1. The 20W module is not faster but stronger. 2. There are currently some problems with the old 20W module. Make sure to buy a module that was made in January 2020. 3. Since the module is stronger, you can set a shorter burn time. Before doing so, you should definitely test which laser power you are satisfied with. 4. The 7W module is equal to 2.5 watts of laser power. The 20W module equals 5.5 watts of laser power. Greetings from Berlin - Germany;)

I bought a 20w Neje Master... it started burning but very superficial... after 6 tests it is only making light, doesnt even marks a paper... I dont know how to make it work properly...apreciate any advice

1. Do you use a Mac or PC? 2. It is very important that you set the focus correctly. The distance to the laser should be approx. 4-5 cm. I use black matt paper to focus. 3. Go to the settings in your software and press "Reset Settings" Try to engrave something again.

@@gregorbassojoias If it can't even laser paper, it could be broken. As far as I know there are two lights. One to adjust and then the laser that burns.

7W would also cut it, but with 20W you have more options if other materials are also cut. But I would be careful with cotton because the laser does not cut but burns.

The different between the Neje Master 1 and 2 is the speed and a better 20W Modul. If you wanna cut metal you need a fiber laser.

Ein Trick zum Ermitteln der Brennweite: eine schiefe Ebene aus einem kleinen Streifen Holz machen und darauf ein Muster aus Linien in verschiedener Höhe brennen. Wenn man das mit voller Leistung macht und über den Rand des Holzstreifens hinaus, dann sieht man auch wie tief der Laser schneidet. Mann kann damit auch festellen, wie viele Durchgänge sinnvoll sind, bevor sich nichts mehr tut.

Hier nochmal in den Haupt-Thread:In diesem Zusammenhang habe ich gerade folgende Info vom 29.12.2019 auf der Neje Supportseite zum 20W Laser gefunden: "The 20W lens has been updated. You don’t need to purchase lens to replace it. The new lens can adapt to engraving and cutting at the same time. The cutting light diameter can be controlled within 0.1mm and 5mm length." Die Linse wurde also upgedated, aber ich muss sie nicht erwerben, um sie auszutauschen?? Wie soll ich denn sonst an die neue Linse kommen, ohne sie zu erwerben? Sehr suspekt :-DIch habe dazu am 2.1. und gestern am 6.1. den Neje-Support angemailt, aber leider bislang keine Reaktion erhalten. Wenn was kommt, melde ich mich.

@@SoulStudioBerlin Just in case this helps anyone else this actually only has a single power through the whole run. My hope was that it could actually utilize the Gcode that can change the power during the job. It seems that maybe the NEJE Master v2 will, and the future v3 definitely will.

Is it possible to lower the output? I want to buy 20W option for multi purpose usage, but I wonder if it will be possible to do detailed engraving (with dithering) like DK8 seires can do?

Moin,das Problem "Streuung" kenne ich auch, hab etwas experimentiert und festgestellt das der laser am meisten Leistung hat,wenn die originale Linse fast gänzlich herausgedreht ist,habe jetzt meinen Brennpunkt 11mm unter der Linsenfassung,6,5mm unter Air assist,,der Unterschied ist enorm...allerdings kann ich bei meinem Eigenbau die Höhe des Lasers einstellen. Kannst du dir ja in meinem Video ansehen,solche Halterung ist schnell gebaut. PS,laut Bedienungsanleitung soll der Brennpunkt optimal bei 10mm liegen.

Finde das Video auch nicht. Wäre interessant. Hab ihn auf ein Küchenbrett geschraubt und stell ihn immer irgendwo drauf. Deswegen habe ich ja nicht den 40er laser gekauft da ist man was das angeht so eingeschränkt

@@T_aus_B_an_der_Spree Die offene Bauweise war für mich auch ein wichtiger Grund. Für eine variable Höhe habe ich mir einen "Labor-Scheren-Tisch" zugelegt.

It looked sharper because the lens is faulty and was not burning very deep compared to the working lens o the 7W, if that makes sense. Good test. Kind regards, Paul.

Ich besitze auch den Neje 20W Laser und habe auch so einen RIng um den Laserpunkt. Kann man vielleicht eine 7W Linse als Ersatzteil irgendwo bekommen? MfG Rico

Rico Hauptmann - Hi Rico. Bei Alibaba gibt es Linsen. Aber einige Abonnenten haben keine guten Erfahrungen damit gemacht. Was machst du mit dem Laser? Gravieren oder Schneiden? Der Unterschied zwischen dem 20W und dem 7W ist nicht so groß wie gedacht, da das beides nur die Leistungsaufnahme angibt und nicht die Laserleistung. 20W= 5,5 Watt Laserleistung 7W = 2,5 Watt Laserleistung. Vielleicht lohnt Ja der Kauf eines 7W Moduls.

Rico Hauptmann - ich habe meine Sachen über Amazon gekauft. Ich konnte deshalb mein 20W Modul zurück geben. Ich warte wann das bessere Modul auf den Markt kommt und hole mir dann das neuere Modul.

Ich habe die Linse bestellt, die in den anderen Videos vorgeschlagen wurde, die kam letztens an und ist totale Grütze. Sie lässt sich viel leichter eindrehen als die mitgelieferte und hat einen extrem hellen Ring drum herum. Und ich habe das Gefühl das der Laser zwischenzeitlich die Leistung etwas runter regelt, ob das mit der Temperatur oder dem billigen Netzteil zusammenhängt kann ich nicht sagen Aber ein schöner Vergleich, wobei es mit auf ein schönes Gravurbild ankommt und nicht so extrem die Tiefe

T. aus B. an der Spree - Ja das mit der Leistung finde ich wirklich verwirrend. Bei dem Vergleich wollte ich gucken, wie stark der Laser ist. Das deine bestellte Linse Grütze ist ist auch sehr enttäuschend. Danke für dein Kommentar.

@@SoulStudioBerlin Ich schicke dir nachher mal ein paar Bilder. Vielleicht siehst du ja woran es liegt. Habe die nicht mal getestet, da mir der streukreis zu groß ist. Schade das man hier keine Bilder einfügen kann.

Am Netzteil liegt es wohl nicht, ich benutze ein recht gutes 10A Netzteil. Sowohl mein 3,5W, als auch mein 20W-Modul haben in der Leistung nach ein paar Betriebsstunden nachgelassen. Auch während des Betriebs lässt die Leistung, nach einer gefühlten viertel Stunde, nach. Das könnte dann ein Teperatur-Effekt sein. Die Grütze hab ich auch bestellt, wurde aber nocht nicht geliefert. Vom 3,5W-Modul bin ich sehr begeistert. Mit dem konnte ich 3mm Sperrholz schon fast durchschneiden. Also habe ich das 20W-Modul nachgerüstet. Mit dem habe ich die gleichen Erfahrungen gemacht wie ihr. Und es schneidet auch kaum tiefer, dafür aber breiter. Laut Angabe des Herstellers soll der 20W-Laser eine Brennweite von 5-50mm haben. Bei meinem sind es 20-70mm. Ich vermute auch, dass das an der Linse liegt. Welche Brennweitenbereich habe eure 20W-Module?

@@wolfgangschindler1408 Das mit der Viertelstunde würde ich jetzt mal indirekt bestätigen, habe aber auch noch nicht viel gelasert. Glaube irgendwie stand mal das man nicht länger als 30min an Stück lasern soll. Das nachlassen kann auch durch eine verdreckte Linse passieren, der Ruß legt sich ja auch auf der Linse ab, deswegen haben "ordentliche" Laser wohl auch einen kleinen Ventilator der das sofort weg bläst. Das hatte ich gestern auch schon überlegt zu bauen. Bei Ali gibt es auch Kühlkörper für solche laser, aber ob die was taugen weiß ich nicht. Letztendlich ist es nur ein Alublock der an das Modul geklemmt wird. Welches Netzteil nutzt du? Habe schon überlegt mal was anderes zu nutzen. Ich werde am Wochenende mal ein paar Bilder machen und die Online stellen, wie die Streuung bei mir ist. Ich kann zwar filigran Lasern, aber allein das fokussieren finde ich schon anstrengend.

Ich habe auch einen Neje Master 2 mit 7W und würde gerne aufrüsten. Wo sehe ich denn, welches Lasermodul ich einfach so anstecken kann, ohne was an der Verkabelung zu ändern?

Hallo Markus, welches Modul möchtest Du denn kaufen? Vergleiche mal ob es Sinn macht gleich Neje 3 oder 3 Plus oder 3 Max mit dem gewünschten Modul zu kaufen. Wenn es nur ein Paar Euro teurer ist, solltest Du lieber einen komplett neuen Laser inkl. Netzteil kaufen, da Du beim Upgrade zum nächsten Modul auch ein Netzteil kaufen musst, dass die Leistung liefert. Weiterhin hast Du dann keine Probleme mit dem Umbau ;) neje.shop/collections/all-products/laser-machine Schau da mal nach. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin

@@SoulStudioBerlin Mich würde ein 20W Modul interessieren. Das sollte eigentlich deutlich billiger als ein neues Komplettgerät sein. Der Umbau sah in eurem Video so einfach aus.

Marcus M. Of course I focused the laser. What you see in the video is a problem with the lens. I don't have this problem alone. Neje has now released a revised version of the laser. I have already contacted Sopport and hope for an exchange.

Wait a second, I am confused, how can 100ms cut deeper than 10ms? Isn't it logic that if it goes slower it will cut deeper?

@@SoulStudioBerlin But I was referring to the 20W module, 100% with 100ms against 20W 100% and 10ms ( 10ms is slower than 100ms, right?) so how come, it cuts deeper when on higher speed ??? And I have one issue here, I just bought Neje master 2 - 20W but I am not able to engrave on the metal plate that was supplied with the machine. Can 20W even engrave or does it just cut? Did I made a mistake buying 20W model?

Natürlich! Du musst aber immer ein Test vorher machen und dir die Einstellungen notieren. Ich würde den Laser nicht zu stark einstellen aber dafür mehrere Durchgänge gravieren. Viel Erfolg!

Hi, habe nich alle 102 Kommentare durchgelesen, aber von der chronologischen Reihenfolge her hast Du Dein Spiegel engraving vor diesen Test gemacht. Damit hast Du Dir Deine Linse am 20W Laser zerstört. - Alt. evtl. auch durch Emissionsdämpfe Deiner Versuche.

sharkyone1000 - ich hatte von Anfang an Probleme mit der Linse und habe sofort den Support angeschrieben. Dieser hat mich am Ende damit vertröstet, dass man gerade Urlaub hat. Danach hat sich nichts getan. Wie du vielleicht gelesen hast, haben auch andere Nutzer Probleme mit der Linse, ohne das sie einen Spiegel graviert haben und die gleichen Streuungen. Natürlich haben wir die Linse gereinigt, da uns das mit den Emissionsdämpfen mitgeteilt wurde. Neje selbst hat die Probleme mit der Linse am 20W Modul eingeräumt und ein Austauschprogramm gestartet. Auch da habe ich mich angemeldet aber leider keine Antwort bekommen. Danke für dein Kommentar! Liebe Grüße aus Berlin.

Will the laser put a legible mark on top of a coca cola plastic bottle cap?

Hi, since it is made of plastic, it will certainly burn something in. Unless it's transparent. I can't answer exactly what you mean by readable. If you write too small no one can read it. Too big and nothing fits on the closure. Then of course there are the settings. Too strong and it burns through the closure. Too weak and the writing is not burned deep enough. But all in all: yes plastic can be marked. Greetings from Berlin

@@MisterFizz HI Archie, I have now tried it quickly. During my first attempts, the laser cut the cap like butter. After a couple of tries, 25% laser power and 25ms burn time (fast mode) I got visible results. I think with a little more time and better settings you can get good results. But I can't imagine if that's what you want. I think you mean colored marking like fiber lasers can. This laser cannot do that. @@SoulStudioBerlin Fiber lasers leave acceptable marks on some polymers. MOPA fiber lasers are a bit better. But UV 355nm offers the most versatility. The "laser ink" by HEVES®TEAM is super-expensive and a VERY slow process. I love it for a one-off dirt cheap solution for individual user with single project a few times per year. But no practical commercial application is suitable to make use of this tech. Even screen printing methods are far more practical.

@@MisterFizz Yes you are right! Screen printing is really cheaper than "MOPA fiber lasers". On my channel you could see what you can do with this laser. Metal doesn't work for me. Mit den Einstellungen schneidet der Laser 4mm Sperrholz mit 70mm/min in 18 Durchgängen,zum Schneiden ist er etwas Schwachbrüstig,aber es geht. Zum Thema Wärme... Bei meinem Board ist kein Anschluss dafür,ist auch nicht notwendig,bei 100% Leistung wird er nichtmal handwarm.

Ich habe schon mit 3mm Schwierigkeiten. Und nach 5 Durchgängen sind kleinere Details gänzlich verkokelt. Welche Software verwendest du?

Wenn er von mm/min redet, dürfte es mit einer CNC Software sein. Er arbeitet ja auch mit CNC, da liegt das nahe. Da muss ich mich aber erstmal rein lesen. LASERgbrl könnte das vielleicht.

Wenn man mit estlcam arbeitet ist die Spindeldrehzahl 255 maximal (entspricht TTL Signal) bei Kurvenfahrten nimmt das Programm automatisch Drehzahl weg,in dem Moment auch Laserpower. Sicher verkohlt es etwas,das liegt aber daran das man eben so oft drüber gehen muss,ein Leistungsstärkerer Laser zieht da mit einem Schnitt durch,da sind brandmarken nicht so problematisch

They make 2 different types of lenses, one for near focus and one for far, looking at the ones you have, that is exactly what is going on. If you look on Aliexpress they are very cheap.

Hallo, obviously you get always the same question about the distance and focus ;) Range and distance of focus are very different between the 7W and the 20W. Almost nobody is going to (except me, I found it) take the trouble to go through all the comments to find the one about the Reply from NEJE. Auso was Du machen solltest, IMHO, ist in einen neuen Comment, genau der Reply einfügen, und dieser "Pinned" at the top so it is sichtbar for everybody, von Anfangs an. Daneben, in der Beschreibung sie sagen dass der 7W ist lieber for deep engraving, während der 20W ist nicht so schnell wie der 7W aber kann doppel so dick schneiden. That is an important difference and one should choose between the 7W and the 20W according to the planned usage of the machine and surfaces. Do you agree? Sonst, meine Meinung nach, was auch gut zu wissen wäre wie lang (Zeit) braucht es für jeder Maschine den gleichen Arbeit fertig zu machen. Thanks ! Mein 20W Laserkopf sieht etwas anders aus - so wie der vom 7W. Er schneidet Holz bei 45ms/100% mit 10mm(!) Dicke. imgur.com/VRqKUs2 20W gekauft in China, 112 €. Eine zusätzlich gekaufte Linse (6€) lässt sich auf beiden Lasern nicht fokussieren.

Danke für das Bild und die Information. Man sollte sich also zur Zeit keine Ersatzlinse kaufen. T aus B hat ja auch schlechte Erfahrungen damit gemacht.

Die schlechten Erfahrungen mit der 6€ Linse kann ich bestätigen. Egal welche Höhe - keine Fokussierung möglich. Holz mit 10mm (siehe oben) schneidet der 20W Laser durch. Nochmals getestet imgur.com/udh48HW

Neje laser modules don't hold up. and they don't like to warranty them either. good luck..

I got my money back for the defective laser. Amazon transferred the money back to me. The support from Neje stopped me. But as I said, Amazon took care of that.

@@Cantstandbs The Neje Support did not get back to me. The seller tried to pass the time and wrote that they were on vacation. Thank goodness Amazon took care of everything. But the new lasers are good. Neje has probably learned from the problems.

Not "not focus"! It wasn't possible to focus it properly. It was a knowing problem of this module. But it was solved in the new modules of Neje Meister 2;)
