@@Nellyslife report a place on where you been Robbed ,maybe you can ask for CCTV on that place and they can find the face of suspect.. - just a reminder of what all Filipino did always put your special bag on your chest any backpack must be on your chest in crowded place wallet on front pocket not on a back of any pants all in front.. and take a pictures of all your cards you will need that atleast you have a copy of numbers.

The bureaucracy is ridiculous. They need all those requirements on a web site. You need stamina, hydration, funds and the patience of a saint. Thank goodness you have your translator and emotional support! Always be weary of pickpocketers. I'm sure you didn't need to get told that after the fact. 😊 Lesson learned.

I still remember the old system at the DFA where you had to line up for miles. And the never ending requirements eg baptismal cert, red ribbon, yearbook etc. So I was shocked when I applied for my US passport the first time. They only asked for one ID, photo and my naturalization certificate. Not only that you can apply at your nearest post office. Yes post office lang.

Im from Davao City and I find it very common in Manila and Cebu. I have to be very vigilant in every move that I make and always keep an eye of my possessions when travelling in those cities. 😂😁 Life is just stress-free and totally different in Davao City, Mindanao.

To be fair, there are some government offices that have improved services, e.g., LTO for Driver's License renewal, DFA for Passport renewal. But I do agree that a lot of improvement is needed in the bureaucracy in general. Good luck, Nelly!

To get government licenses and registrations in PH, you have to allocate at least a day, and even more. And a lot of redudant documents.
