Since he is working with so much water pressure and GPM, a SR200/P200 would have been a better choice since even after adjustment the drive arm is kicking back so far its hitting the bottom of the guns barrel and will likely need the arm replaced again. the 200 series of Nelson big guns puts out from 250-1200gpm and is the biggest they make, and the 200 is designed for high volume output. Lots of P200's where i live on travelers or solid sets, As a kid i always loved watching them work, of course the P200 is a vintage 70's nelson gun and is not made anymore, due to SR being more efficient at putting water down, and does not have to "fast reverse" putting stress on the point where the gun itself is mounted, since they whip back around so fast. without setting the brake properly a lot of these vintage "fast reverse" guns would break prematurely.
