Hi another great video, what is the highest temperature the outside of the candle jar should get to for safety after burning for 4 hours?

This would depend on the jar as there are many variables like materials, wax, glass, cement, ceramic and so on but the company you got the jars from can tell you that

Seems like oils loose their scent when I add them too hot, this lady has good info She uses 57C & it’s about 152F. Some channels give confusing advice. We make our candles just for us with the purest ingredients we can find cause we got tired of “soy blend” & questionable synthetic scents that make us cough & make our eyes dry. The designs here are very elegant.

Hi can I ask what size wick I would need for a 2 1/2 inch Wide candle Tin ? Is wood wick better?

Honestly it depends on the fragrance, jar and wax. For example a softer wax will melt fast and some vanilla or thick fragrance take longer to burn so anything from a 4mm to 20mm pro wood wick

@@NelsonInteriorSoapery i dont know what im doing wrong but i got a rough wet texture after pouring it 6hrs ago. Is that normal?

@@markangelotojon87 are you adding to much fragrance. if it feels wet after drying for a few hours then it might be the fragrance rising to the surface and that means the wax molicules have not been able to bind correctly with the wax pushing them to the surface.

My cold throw is perfect but my hot throw is almost non existent. Im using c6, tired 8,10 and 12%, i add fregnance at 50 and pour at 45 degrees. Any advice?

I only use 9% but do you give them a cure time as that dies help to. If i use m12 i give 3 weeks cure . If you dont add the fragrance at the right time yiu can burn off the scent and make sure you stirred well
