I feel bad for jay his dad and mom left him at a Young age he was beating up by dinjis crue he lost his friends so many times he held his pain by joking around and people still call him weak he also almost went crazy for nya.

When Nya died in end of sky bound it was one of the 3 most emotional moment in Ninjago

Cole had the worst. After his mom pass he had to do everything alone cause he literally didn't had a father that cared about him, he sacrificed being a ghost for the airjitzu scroll and in the begining they cared about him but then was just a colleague for them😥🗻🖤

Lloyd has the worst. So many times to see the death of friends. His father almost killed him. Also I can't say that all ninjas are broken. Since Cole, Kai and Zane do not look like people who have suffered from their personal tragedies. They are somehow stronger, left with reason. have suffered from their personal tragedies.

I am pretty sure Lloyd is the most broken character i mean he was abandoned by his mother at an evil school, had to fight his father because of his destiny, thought he killed his own father, and then actually sacrificed his father to the cursed realm for ninjago, betrayed and played by his own gf, and his gf resurrected his own father but only the evil side, had hid to hide and fight his father AGAIN and after all of that he is still ninjago's greatest hero and he hasn't turned evil

Gets injured the most please respect Kai😭😢😪💔❤️‍🔥❤️‍🩹😔

Also for Zane: He wasn’t forced into committing mass genocide, and according to “quest for lost powers” he struggled a lot to cope with that. (He also never learned to cope with grief which caused him to create the ninjigma and also turn off his emotion meter) So...this might be out of my own personal bias, but I feel like he’s had it worse ngl

Kai lost his parents when he was really young and had to raise himself and Nya on his own. Then the Nya (the only family he had left) was kidnapped and he had to become a ninja to save her. He took losing Zane probably the hardest out of anyone. And then he lost Nya again in Seabound. And of course there’s more but Kai definitely deserves to be on this list. Totally agree with the rest tho

My favorite Ninja Jay the Ninjas get captured by Nadakan and Unagami if you mean hard they died for a short time but Jay didn't die but that's not better he has to see his friends die, his parents gave him away and he doesn't know why yes Ed and Edna are nice parents but it's hard to know that his parents not love him like they do. Cole stole him Nya in S3 and Cole is his best friend! He see Nya die get tortured by Nadakan see his friends die the second time when Nadakan makes them to Statues and Nya doesn't know him because he was hypnotized from Nadakan and then when she become normal she died. In Seabound give Nya her life and merge with the sea to save him then Kalmaar "destroyed" her and he can't do anything his depression was to see in Crystallized but he makes Jokes to hide his depression and broken side
