What can I say, I have an obsessive personality. I have fallen in love with Nemesis and a 3D terrain build is now consuming my life! Part 1 of what will be a very long build.

Such an epic looking build! Extremely jealous, as you are well aware that I have been wanting to do the same thing for quite some time. However, I can safely say your additions of the LEDs far surpass what I had in mind. Keep it up!

Don't know if i have an obsessive personality but i am going to make a 3D gaming board too to play Nemesis or Aliens. Aliens gaming board indeed i started several years ago but never finished. I diverted on another project which was continuing running in my mind was the Helm's keep till i did her! Here is to see: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/prupfLyYrseug6s.html. To make Nemesis i think i will keep the original map scheme but adding longest corridors and air ducts as well as 2 or three different playing levels to balance the missing of some rooms due to the longest corridors. Bought some leds at Xmas to already have flashing and other useful effects. Since i am actually making my second Helm's keep, i will start the Nemesis project later but i am already thinking how to make it and collecting bits of parts i think can be uselful as well as ideas. At the moment i am thinking to disassemble some old PC to get stuffs to glue on walls. I used EPP to make the keep but to make a spaceship i probably use something like MDF, let's see which one works better. Being an Aliens fan, probably i use Nemesis rules and Prodos Games miniatures to play . Wish to thank you for some new interesting ideas your video has given me, just please add some technical details in the description to explain what are the materials showed in the video, if you have used a 3D printer or so. Where did you get the hibernation pods? I bought the Dragons Rest set, what parts did you use for the bridge?

What is this? Is this custom 3D object that you make or it is 3Dfiles that you can buy somewhere and print?

Hi Andreas, if you watch all of the episodes and review comments you’ll find a lot more info that answers your questions but it’s 3D printed - a combination of Dragon’s Rest Outpost Origins and random greeble bits and pieces from Thingiverse.

would be nice to know the link to make the pods as well as to know the flashing light how to make. BTW, have you finished the work?

Hi Marco. For the pods I printed scaled up versions of the below link. The flashing LED is just a 3mm LED bulb mounted into the underside of the print and wired to a switch. There’s loads of basic electronic vids covering that sort of thing on YT. As for my Nemesis project, unfortunately progress has been very slow, Ive been busy with my day job, a side business and family stuff. I will finish it one day, I really want to play 3D Nemesis! www.thingiverse.com/thing:1669013

Do you consider doing commissions to sell such a terrain set ?

Hi Joe, thanks for the comment. I’m not licensed to sell the Dragon’s Rest prints that I’m using on this build. Besides, I’m way too busy with my side business of printed and painted Gloomhaven terrain to consider other commissions. As it is, I haven’t yet been able to dedicate the time to finish this Nemesis build which is killing me cos I REALLY wanna play a 3D Nemesis!!
