Nemesis Item timings are big factor on this game 10x bigger than League of Legends. a 13min surprise dagger timer is huge

The pros abused the fact, that you can't check items on the scoreboard all the times. They would buy some big impact items like blink, bkb, or butterfly and stop showing themselves on the map until the next teamfight to surprise the enemies.which I think it's a interesting mechanic but also inconvenient for new players.

Yeah itemization is a very big part of the game. Theres so much advantage you can get simply by being more mindful of checking enemy items and playing accordingly.

Higher rank players always check enemy items to gain advantage. One 5head move you can also do is purposely showing yourself in enemy vision while an item powerspike (like blink dagger) is hidden on your courier nearby. Then going out of vision to get your item and surprising your enemies with it.

This is exactly how it works in league of legends-- items dont update unless you have vision of your opponent. Whats the issue here?

@@bspoken3973 Because you can transfer items between players and couriers in dota you can play mind games where you transfer items and show. Seeing them in tab just removes skill expressions like that.

@@bspoken3973 this is just how it is, when i started playing leagur i thought it was stupid that you coulsnt click on enemy champs to read their abilities and see their ranges, specially since champs are not free, i think i played the game for a year until i discovered what malzahar did

Melee champs have innate 50% chance to block 16 dmg on auto attacks on them, so they can tank minions quite well. Ranged champs don't have this innate dmg block, so when you ulted the Tinker at 31:05 he was forced to stay near the 2 melee minions which gave enough dmg for the kill

Id like to see you build arcane blink and octarine core on puck! Arcane blink increases blink range and reduces blink cd to 7s. Octa reduces all spell and item cd by 25%! You can do more dashing and dodging on this already elusive hero.

Always switch boots to str before activate shield rune so it gives the most shield possible, you can switch back straight after activating

Theres a lot of filler full sets skins on puck (also true on most heroes). But there are better individual part skins you can customize your hero with.

okay, while pressing TAB there are several buttons on the bottom right of the window. One of them pans out the TAB-Panel and shows you items.

@@user-cn7nl7dg2x do you genuinely think that a game as big and as old as DotA hasn't made that change due to valve being "stupid and bad"? or do you think mabye, just mabye, they don't show you that easily because it isn't supposed to be readily apparent easy information to gain, you have to take the time to click on enemy heroes to see their items. just because something your used to being spoonfed requires effort to figure out doesn't make it "stupid and bad" it's just another layer of complexity. if you want a non complex MOBA experience go back to league, that's what it's for.

@@user-cn7nl7dg2x because in dota you could have 20 different units to control at the same time, while in league the maximum is 2, and you can't even fully control other units in league. tab is used to switch between units to make it easier to multitask and tell different units to do different things. now go back to your bronze league games

Nyx assasine is a HARD COUNTER to puck, ember, storm or ANY HERO with AOE uncontrolable burst because nyx use his E its simliar to a blademail it reflects and also STUNS when your puck orb flys in the hair then nyx R ultimate allows him to stay invis and he gets CRIT dmg upon hitting enemy and his Q stuns follow up and his W burst you even FURTHER for the amount of mana you lacking. BASICALLY nyx assasinte is equiped to ASSASINATE

Hey neme I saw you read some of the comments. So here is a usefull one. If you wanna last hit better get used "attack" a minion and stop before you finish your auto so you turn to him and then once he gets low auto attack. Might even helps if you spam a click s. U miss lots of autos cause you are used to no turn rate from league.

at the start of the video when you talk about puck being the most apm intensive like league. I really suggest you give invoker a few games. It's gonna be extremely hard but most people I see main Puck + invoker + ember spirit. these 3 are usually the highest out play potential mechanically intensive besides illusion/unit heros. I'm sure you'll love him a lot just not at first....

It's cool seeing a league streamer playing Dota. I wish someone like the Ceb version of League would play Dota. Ceb was challenged by a Master or Grandmaster in his stream in the first game and he just stomped him. You should watch the interview or stream. It was crazy easy for him.

His enemies are high guardian, sometimes low Crusader, sometimes ever 5-star heralds. He has an average farm for puck. Mechanically he is good but he has very little map awareness, no idea about power spikes, when to divert from "the one and only build". He thinks there is a mage and an ADC build. In reality each of those have dozens of variations and if you heavily lose laming phase, swap early on with your safelane position 5 (or 4) you have to prepare to support. All those concepts aren't there yet and he seems to deny the possibility that roles work differently to league
