You are supposed to pull the front bumper of Swindle up to cover up the gap in the alternate, more toon accurate, mode. As for Vortex's guns, I put the two small ones on top of the round booster so it will hold the helicopter blades in place, and I put the other gun together and put it on the back side of where you currently have the two smaller guns.
