No joke, I've been playing syndra a couple of weeks now over hwei and it feels so much more satisfying. A scaling mage with amazing CC that picks and chooses who lives and dies past 20ish minutes. Absolutely perfect.

i agree and have been spamming syndra a lot, but being completely honest, she feels way too overpowered rn. her only weakness is early lane which is mitigated as soon as you get lost chapter like 5 minutes in, and then she just has unlimited mana to spam her stun every 4 seconds and bully her way through literally any lane and fight

Hwei isn't even getting buffed next patch and their nerfing first strike so he will get even worse :( He was above 50% wr (emerald+) for one patch and then immediately got gutted

@@vorche_ A pretty safe blind pick who can neutralize lane and scale decently with a lot of utility and good teamfighting.

I dont get the complaining about hwei. The nerfs he got werent super impactful. He still feels pretty much the same to play as 14.10

Obviously I'm a complete noob and haven't played league in years, but Hwei still seems insanely strong to me. His early game looks terrible but his zone control and damage once he gets items is absurd. Kinda reminds me of Lux but Lux's damage right now seems broken in comparison edit: Nemesis comments later in the video but I guess it makes sense, Hwei is strong against the typical squishy champs which you would be able to one shot (like most mages) but the damage against bruisers/tankier champs is garbage. After I saw him one shot that Camille with Syndra I realize what he means by "damage"
