Shes a melee skirmisher like Yi, who also has the ability to ignore cage, to have a squishy auto attack based champion you have to give them either an invuln or a way to easily evade a ton of damage or their entire kit will never work. Not that Gwen couldn't use some nerfs, but I don't think her W is where.

People start picking Gwen and Zed every time they see Veigar. And worse is: they actually know how to use it.

@@sirrismendozasunlessrealms5775 Assassins actually arent the main veigar counter (you can everfrost ulting zed behind you). Veigar gets countered by high range. (This is what C9 VeigarV2 says anyways)

@@AsirIset yes but also the most popular assassin counters veigar. He needs 2800 gold to avoid dying to zed with everfrost. If you are lee sin irl and Can dodge shurikens for a living then yea is cool. But as a veigar main is simply impossible the higher to go to simply dodge em, one electro combo from zed is is enough for you to be half hp and be forced to back, otherwise he can simply all in next time w is up under your turret and use his r to avoid you from using your r. Next fizz will clap you he avoids your cc as your cage is long cd and so is ur everfrost and his e is like 9 secs, you need stopwatch asap or you die at 6 or later stages anyways. Coming from a diamond veig main

Higher you go extremely hard. You need items and you need em fast, you have no mobility a long cage cd, low hp. Just pick malz man and get ur lp to counter these cringe assassin mains.

@@cybercipher5770 And he's a burst mage. He's supposed to deal a lot of damage. I agree that Veigar is broken and so do many people, but the problem therefore doesn't lie with his damage. The problem with Veigar is that he can build multiple tank items and STILL oneshot with Q + R. The problem isn't his damage, it's his tankiness.

If a target is cced long enoguh to make e the dmg is literally guranteed and no way of escaping. Thats it. Ryze is the thing you mentioned with the tankiness yes but i watch every t1 LCK game. Veigar is not picked for his tankiness
