how does the tempo differ from the disco?

I love my Disco. I'm 5' 11". Before I bought mine, I zipped up inside a Regular length at REI. I wanted a little more room, so I got the Long size. Before I went on my 1st camping trip with it, I slept in it on top of my bed at home. It is so comfortable, after 3 nights I had to really force myself to quit using it and get under the sheets again.

I bought two of them then a third. Great sleeping and worth the money just make sure you get a good insulated pad for the temps you are camping in.

It is tough to get in its compression sack. Just bought it. It would be better if the stuff sack was a bit bigger, since it compresses anyways lol, but oh will. Packs really tight and narrow!

Just bought the Nemo Disco long! Excited to give it a try this winter. Last year I bought the Thermarest Saros -6deg Celsius bag, love it, but it's mummy shape was inconvenient for me cause I move alot. And it was a bit short for me. However I was out trekking, and it slept quite comfortably at -23 degrees My question for you, how cold have you tried the Disco? I'm assuming since the Disco is 3 degrees warmer in rating than my saros, I should be good this winter :)

Congrats. I'm sure you'll like the spoon shape of the Disco. I've slept comfortably at 18F. But comfort is totally subjective.

how tall are you, Brandon? i'm 1m83 so wondering if i should go with the long one. The normal one i think will be too snug feeling?

In the video, I'm sleeping on the mattress in the rooftop tent. No pad. I do own a Nemo Cosmo Lite that I use when sleeping in a ground tent however.

Nice video....debating between the 15 and 30...Not sure whether the 15 would be too warm...I see most of my camping above 30 F at night....and as warm as 80 F, so leaning toward the 30....thoughts?

I think the 30F bag is the right choice for you. I have an older Nemo Nucturne 30F that I use in warmer temps.

Is the bottom main zipper supposed to move? I notice its not the same as the top main zipper. Mine is all jammed up, and one side of the base of the zipper is about 1/4 higher than the other side.. The tracks are still aligned and the main zipper moves just fine, so Im not going to mess with it in fear of ruining my $200+ Disco.. It seems like if theres a zipper somewhere, it should move, but theres no pull for it on the inside and its not the fancy 'no-snag' style like the main zipper. Im fine not using it, Im just curious if its supposed to move or not??

Nemo has a life time warranty. Why don’t you ask them if they will repair or replace you zipper?

You said you're 6'--is your bag the regular or the long? If the regular, do you think it fits your height well?

I ended up getting the Long version. I like the bag to be roomy. It's very comfortable.

Im looking at cutting my pack weight and upgrading from the decent Kelty I currently have, and am seriously considering getting the Disco. I live in Colorado and will use this primarily May-September. Do you think this would be TOO warm? Also, what sleeping pad (if any) are you using with this?

It's a great bag because you can always open the gill vents to allow heat out. I'm in a roof top tent that has its own mattress. But when I'm sleeping on the ground, I use the insulated Cosmo from Nemo

At 16 lol. Google the specs for comfort ratings, 15 degree rating is lowest survival temp for males..

I Think I Saw It In A Store & It Just Said 15 So It Must Be For Down To 15. And 15 Is Pretty Good For Many Situations But 15 Probably Means Its Good To 20 Or 25 Depending On Other Factors. It Is A Very Light Weight Feeling Bag For A 15 Degree. But Check Their Website?

The Tempo uses synthetic insulation versus the Disco's down insulation. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Down is lighter, packs smaller, more expensive and not the best for wet environments. Synthetic won't clump like down feathers when wet, is less expensive but weighs more and doesn't pack as small as down bags.
