Joost's lawyer said that he pushed the camera. The EBU didn't say he did anything physically but his lawyer did. No matter the reason, if this is the case he can't be in the competition. While he has legal problems he can't compete whether we like it or not. Sadly, this IS the justice.

He pushed the camera because someone filmed him after his song, while Eurovision had signed an agreement that they would prevent people from filming him after his performance as he gets emotional. Two wrongs don’t make a right, and I won’t claim he did the right thing, but the woman who filmed him against the agreement was the person who did the first wrong and effectively ruined his Eurovision dreams.

@@Sca1edAnd again, an attack is an attack. If what you're saying is correct, he should've been disqualified anyways and the photographer fired. Btw, as a public figure and an adult there's nothing really illegal with filming him and trying to minimize the filming after a show doesn't mean he wouldn't be filmed with absolute certainty. In any case, the disqualification was justified because of his acts even tho the photographer, according to what you said, broke a contract.

The only notable thing about his performance are the high notes. Everything else can be achieved after six months of choir practice. His voice isn’t that great except for the high notes. Compared to Isreal and France (especially France) he should have gotten tenth place at best.

@@surferofthewaves6128 As I said, the high notes are notable. I didn’t say anything against them. However, the rest of his performance is pretty average and there are many mistakes. Furthermore, this video proves that his singing is not nearly as good as one may have perceived it during his Eurovision performance. One of the main reason why his performance sounds somewhat alright in the contest is because of the background music and auto tuned vocals. He hides behind the background music and this video proves it. Without the music his singing isn’t that great and his many mistakes are revealed. Most of the work is done by the background music. The French performance was a thousand times better not only because the singer has a much better voice, but because he doesn’t hid behind already recorded, auto tuned singing and music. There is literally a part where the he steps three meters away from the microphone, sings amazingly with absolutely NO background music or vocals, and perfectly stays in time (it is very difficult to stay in time when there is no music or conductor to guide you). Nemo should have gotten eleventh place at best because he made many mistakes during the performance, his singing was sloppy, his vocals were poor and half the music/singing we hear does not come directly from him but from an already recorded piece.

I love the code for two reasons 1. The code is clearly abt them being non binary but it’s not soo clear to the point where that’s the only thing you think abt when the song is played 2. It has high and low notes which shows not only are they non binary so are their vocal range they can sing lower ( masculine ) notes and higher ( feminine) notes

everybody's saying that nemo didn't deserve the victory, he doesn't have talent or stuff like that, but i think that his song is actually a masterpiece and totally deserved to win eurovision. his voice is really impressive (i'm a singer, so i know how it works), he handled the performance very well, i think it must be hard singing in that conditions. now i'm not saying that everyone should like nemo, it's totally ok if someone doesn't like him or his song, but i can't accept people that say he's not talented, because he looks like he was born for this.

it's actually easier to sing in falsetto than it is to sing in chest voice and mixed voice. it requires less air and less chord closure. so the most impressive part is him belting out those high chest notes

I was split between Croația and Switzerland...I believe Nemo's song was more complicated and technically more difficult to perform. Croația's was good but they were amazing with a less quality product. Nemo checked all the boxes - difficult song, fantastic vocals, amazing movements on that platform, no need of lights and fireworks behind him. Absolutely fantastic...

So they did the high notes live - good to know. I wasn’t sure, because there definitely are additional C6 notes recorded in the backing vocals. But I guess that’s just to make the sound wider, because these two sounds are panned hard left and right on the recording.

First of all, this is life secondly, that is life. Of course it sounds different than in the studio. There you can have as many attempts as you want. Not at the ESC, you sing once and that was the finale. That means excitement + stage show + huge pressure on the shoulders of the performers. So honestly if you ask me nemo made a great song their outfit is amazing it suits them very good. Of course it doesn't sound like it came from the studio, but to be honest, if you expect that, you can't help it. Nobody goes to styles swift or grande and later says it doesn't sound like it does on the cd, no shit Sherlock it is life. Nemo's song is fantastic, from rap to opera, so many genres were represented, it's an incredible talent and honestly her voice is fucking amazing. they did a very good job. and they deserved the win. That primarily had nothing to do with queer visibility; there were already several queer acts. so shut the fuck up. and please don't forget you don't have to love the song but insulting Nemo because of it is not okay let them wear what they want okay? lots of love and please don't forget behind every star singer or actor there is a real person with feelings and bullying in any form is disgusting and not a solution. If you don't like the music, don't listen to it, that's easy, but don't ruin the fun of the music or fashion for others. and honestly they are clothes that have no gender and there is no discussion about it. and whoever comes along now, the men should dress as manly as they used to when they slept in history class.

The lyrics bring urgency, like i went to hell and back and together with the running at in the beginning that breathing was definitely intentional "like i came running to hell and back" While it's obvious running around and getting on that spinning disc was cutting his breath (still impressive) I have a feeling part of it was intentional. The breathing was in tune with the lyrics - idk how people missed that completely
