Would not believe I have had watching reactors first impact of Mayu and her opening vocals. Their entire catalog is good original and the covers. Its just talent and professionalism at a higher level that we in the west do not have. My 2 favorite covers are Megitsune (Babymetal) and their X Japan Eng. Ver. cover.

Old metalhead here, gotta say I dont even try to listen to American metal (I am American btw) anymore, to much of the same, not original in my opinion. These Japanese ladies (bands) have developed a new formula or something, I cant stop checking out their scene, it is mind boggling how talented and creative and FUN the asian rock/metal genre is as of late. You may want to read some of my comments if interested. - Saki (right g; current member of Mary's Blood, all female metal band and a former member of DESTROSE) is a famous mad shred master. She is very pretty and a phenomenal guitar player. The band never caught on and was an underground band. It's disbanded. - Hazuki (left g) was a former member of Disqualia (all female metal band formed in 2015 by three former members of legendary all-female metal band DESTROSE: Narumi, Risa*Risa and Ibuki). The vocal and bass player left Disqualia so they are not active. (You will hear a lot about Destrose). - Haraguchi-san (bass) is former member of HoLDERLINS (a co-ed metal group still active) - And lastly, Tamu Murata (drums) a former member of SORAMIMI. She actually started as a Fusion drummer; and she can play almost any genre. Her official channel has over 40 million combined views (check out her channel). She is a top female drummer from Japan that includes Akane (Band-Maid, hard rock), Haruna (Lovebites, metal), Kanade Sato (19 yrs old fusion prodigy), and Senri Kawaguchi (world famous Fusion Jazz). The gang vocals show they don't take themselves seriously-Hazuki even winks. If you watch them enough, you will get a clear sense that they are enjoying a private joke. Like "Yeah, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off". Nemophil-a (NOT “Nemophil-i-a) were founded in 2019. They are a supergroup composed of: Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects) Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding. Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized Mayu with some help from Saki. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs.
