This band is just so versatile. The talent is impressive on every level. There is so many good bands coming out of Japan.

MV = Music Video; PV = Performance Video. This was recorded with the musicians apart from each other due to Covid, and Tamu added the drum solo on her own, she was told not to. Tamu was happily surprised when it was kept in the final version.

Yes I love the drums in this too. Its no wonder, being that the song is written by Haraguchi san, the base player and lyrics from Hazuki the guitarist.

Great reaction They keep surprising lots heard this for the first time live at the last online show and were blown away by it(there were other new songs each different to the next all awesome) written by the Bass player and lyrics by the left as you look GT (guitarist) Hazuki .They tap into Kensuke Akiyama a very well known composer in japan for help with ideas and songs The thing with this bunch is there all highly intelligent all read music play other instruments (singer plays piano and guitars ) the DR(drummer can play multiple instruments) also has drum music and if some one gives her a sheet of music for a song she will play it .The level of technical ability you dont see very often there all on the same level. Hi Todd. If you like them you should do more! Like this track much but a little mainstream. Dissension is a good visit as well as Rollin Rollin, Raite and Seize the Fate, and plenty others- some others a hit-and-miss for me- but their covers of Shout at the Devil, The Trooper and Give Up (Linken Park) are a must-listen!

Great Reaction, Todd! Not to be too much the fanboy, but it's Nemophila, not Nemophilia. Nemophila is a 5-petal blue flower, from which the band derived their name. Nemophilia means "love of Nemo", which is great if you're Dory and you're trying to find Nemo. Also, been enjoying your reactions. As another guy that's 60 years old, I love the fact that you've found Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, Jinjer and Epica. I've seen Epica lots, and the last time I saw Jinjer (in Seattle), I was literally front stage, center, with no barrier between stage and floor. When Tatiana got up on the ego-riser, her toes would literally hit me in the stomach, and when she banged her head, her hair hit the top of my head. So, yes, you can be 60 and be in the mosh pit. Nothing like being at a show and having to look up into the sky to see the lead singer's face. Unless she crouches down, in which case her face is less than a foot from yours when she's singing. A surreal experience.... Thank you Simone and Tatiana. I am happy to recommend videos from any of these bands - I would tend to lean toward their live performances, as they give a better portrayal of their musicianship. There are so many videos (especially with Epic and Jinjer), all of which require context (who was in the band, what sound they were going for), which I am happy to assist with, if you're interested. I would also like to give a shout out to Spiritbox, who if you haven't heard them, are an extremely "hot" progressive band. Lots of one-take vocals and great music videos. Great song. Love Nemophila. Murata Tamu is one of my favorite drummers. Nemophila, Band Maid, Lovebites are some of my favorite bands.

Nemophila only has one i in it. You keep saying Nemophil i a which isn't correct. I think this is their first song without any guitar solos, a drum solo was here which I found a nice change.

Super song, with this arabian riffs, like Amorphis. I really love this band, they playing à lot of differents styles (electronic with Night Flight or monsters, trashy with Revive or Dissenssion, mid-tempo with Life, or more heavy metal (Fighter)... Similar has Lovebites, they are not locked in only one style.

Besides MV you sometimes see PV which is "promotional video". Sometimes those are shorter versions of the song.
