Welcome! Saki and Hazuki trade off guitar solos. Hazuki has the tree of life on her fret board and Saki has the Sakura blossoms on the bottom. Saki normally uses her signature Empress guitar from Killer guitars. Hazuki is signed by Ibanez and plays many models from the manufacturer. This band is so incredibly talented. The all female Japanese metal/rock scene is incredible. Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid and Hanabie are fantastic. The 2 guitarists from Lovebites are elite with the 2 from Nemophila right behind them. It's an awesome rabbit hole.

Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College (ex - Holderlins band); Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and... Disqualia, Mary's Blood, and Lovebites are all bands started by former members of the band Destrose. Destrose was an all female metal band that was one of the early bands of the female metal band boom around 2010. They went though a lot pf personnel changes. As mentioned, Tamu took up drums because she was inspired by Nao, the woman drummer of MTH. Akane, the drummer of Band-Maid, is also a big Nao fan. And crazy Hanabie started out as an MTH cover band.

All the members of Nemophila we're already well established musicians in Japan prior to forming Nemophila in 2019 and lucky for us they formed this incredible band
