This is Nemophila's best work to date. This song is so awesome and incredible on SO MANY levels it's not even funny. From the lyrics (written by Saki the guitarist with the not blue one) to the incredible musicianship to the awesome overall song composition and of course Mayu's perfectly on point vocals. This song has resonated with in almost the same way as when I heard Band-Maid for the first time.... almost. They're amazing I am on 100% on board to take this journey with them as they rise up.

In a little over two years, this incredible band has rocketed to the top of my list...my favorite band on the planet these days. The mix of mad chops, terrific songwriting, versatility, and magical chemistry...they deserve every bit of their meteoric rise. Not a stretch to predict they'll be global metal superstars sooner rather than later. I went to the gig in LA at Whisky a Go Go (a long-ass drive from Portland that was SO worth it). Walked away with that rare sense of having witnessed something very special.

Such a great song. It is also great to see women as musicians and not just vocalists which is in general what you mostly see in bands from Europe or the US. Although, I understand that it takes years to get to the level they display and no guarantees that anybody will even care after that. Saki, the guitarist on the right side, wrote lyrics for this song. Have a great day, Tauri.

I am so happy to see this your amazing reaction video. YES, I feel the same. I love Nemophila like you. This song is one ot the best metal songs of 2022. Here is words to this song: "Saki's lyrics dip into literature and Buddhism---"adabana" basically means a blooming plant that fails to flower, but has various metaphorical meanings in literature. She's packed the Buddhist concepts of cyclical rebirth (輪廻) and impermanence (諸行無常), as well as Shakespeare, into the lyrics for good measure. Saki and Hazuki said in an interview that they recorded their solos separately without hearing what the other played, but because of some deft mastering by composer-arranger Kensuke Akiyama (who's worked with Nemophila before, Band-Maid, various other artists) the solos fit together neatly. Hazuki said she tried some three-finger picking for the first time, during recording. Saki said she was in touch with Akiyama by phone during post-production because she was busy with her Mary's Blood duties. Give credit to Akiyama for some great work on this song."
