The system of Nen is really deep and one could write many essays on it. Togashi exposits all the basics, but much of it is also implied. Here's just one example of something you missed: You forgot the mozart/einstein thing (they were both in one panel of the manga). Nen is naturally responsible for people being geniuses because they meditate/think so much that they intuitively become a Nen user (like Neon Nostrade being a genius fortune-teller, and Komugi etc). And meditation is one way that leads to opening the chakra nodes (though warriors still have more volume of aura (or more opened nodes) than intellectuals, hence they need Ten to prevent excess leakage. So Nen actually explains why geniuses like Mozart exist. And noone can ever disprove it. For all we know, Nen COULD be real.

You forgot to add a few things. Here is what i remember: . Enhancement is the most basic of nen categories. Because nen itself mostly enhances one's own abilties and perception the enhancement category is basically a more adept version of it. Because it is that unspecified like the other categories enhancers tend to have larger reserves of nen. . This gets me to my second point, nen reserves and nen output. You should have covered under the basic nen principles that one's amount of nen can be increased by meditating with ten, while one's maximum output can be trained via using ren. . Hisoka's character divination test: Even though Hisoka himself claimed this to not be very reliable, it showcases different nen categories applying to certain character traits. To this point it's also been fairly accurate. . This is not truly relevant but you should have stated that nen can be basically used to any effect. The flexibility is only limited by your respective category, your skill, nen reserves and nen output. . You also didn't truly emphasize the strengthening of residiual nen after a user's death, provided strong emotions are linked to the nen. . What i am personally unsure about: Are you sure conjurers and manipulators have only 60% potential to learn the respective category? Seems kind of unfair for the 1% specialist chance and lower nen reserves. . One last thing that comes to mind: Conjurers rarely just conjure items, but usually give them special abilties, often via vows and restrictions. They also develope a strong connection to their conjurations to enhance their ability, sometimes even by giving the object a personality or making it come to life. . (edit) One last thing i thought of after writing the comment: You stated shrouding your body with ten only grants you resistances against nen attacks. This is false, as demonstrated with Zushi during the Heaven's Arena Arc, who resisted Killua's purely physical attacks using only ten.

Well hopefully this video can explain pretty much everything you will ever need to know about Nen! I spent a good deal of time on this one so let me just say I really appreciate you checking it out! :D Make sure to let me know what I should make a video about next! I just love Nen so much. Never thought I could love a power system. All the ideas behind it and it's execution make me so excited. It's such a marvel, such a gem. So you got Aura. All living beings have Aura. But how to control that Aura? Well you got this technique called Nen. Nen has mental and physical qualities to it. Mentally you have to envision goals, have a resolve, be meditating to create a stronger control over the Aura etc. It isn't just, train, get stronger, done. No you also have to put mental work into it. Anime tropes like anger power boosts and bloodlust also have a well written place in Nen. A character can be stronger with rage, that's because that rage is a form of their resolve. Keep an angry state of mind towards someone, keep grinding that resolve and your Aura will reflect that. It isn't just a cheap way of making a character stronger, it takes resolve. It's also tied to making a contract with yourself which expresses that resolve even more. While that contract has HUGE consequences for you if you go far with the resolve and ''power boost''. While Bloodlust is a expression of Ren, powering your Aura up so you can attack someone. And if that someone isn't shielding themselves from it with Ten, then they got a problem. Like they are standing naked in a hurricane. Oof there is just so much to it. It all fits so well into each other. Hatsu's, nen types, concepts like Gyo etc. There is just too much to mention. Heck, Togashi even took the concept of making a wish. Like having a Shenron and made Alluka out of it with all kinds of rules to her powers. The guy can create so much intricate but logical rules which don't even stand in the way of his creativity. He can even keep adding new things to it. It's insane.

Nen system is fucking masterpiece, just like the show itself.

Nen is the best 'ki/chi usage' or 'powers' in all animes I have watched. Powerful enough but not too OP. Not too simple like in Dragon ball. Also, nen battles are so interesting to watch as Morel said, "In Nen battles, it doesn't mean that the one with most nen will always win. It's how you use your nen."

Last I heard aging slows due to nen being used to harden the body and cells within. Providing both physical protection and reducing cell division(aging). This was explained IN the anime. When they were first training for nen use I believe.

Ehh the Transmutation Nen propensity explanation is a bit more complex than that. AND Killua had to embrace electricity with his whole body through excruciating torture-training in order to even let it be part of him. Godspeed might just be hurting him

I think u forgot about how creating a hatsu will also make ones hatsu stronger f they emotionally tied to it or build said hatsu around something they had for awhile for example hisoka stated he created his hatsu elastic love or bungee gum after a chewing gum he liked as a kid another example is for shalnark who is a manipulator created his hatsu black voice on his first cell phone he ever received. So if you like to play video games and the first system u ever had was a gameboy advance then creating ur hatsu around it will make it very powerful and even more so with vows and limitations
