Nene is so iconic but she just couldn’t handle sharing the spotlight. She completely self destructed because of Kenya’s star power. She just couldn’t handle it. All she had to do was embrace Kenya and be her friend. They would still be sitting on top of the ratings to this day. Smfh

Something shifted in season 6 tho i think she really felt like Kenya was tryna come between her and Cynthia friendship then Kenya filming with Marlo while her and nene were deeply into it had something to do with it. That's what wrong with you twirls. Kenya was never entitled to a friendship with Nene. It seems Nene could tell she was being used by Kenya and decided early on never to get too close. Rather than accept the boundaries Nene put up we had to deal with Kenya harassing Nene at every turn. Kenya and all her lies got the best of her, as we saw on the last reunion. Nene never lied about anything when she was on the show so it was never gonna be in the cards for her to be close with Kenya who lied constantly.

It's true Nene can be feeling herself a bit too much at times (the same as all of them, even Kandi but she is more covert with it) but the assertion that Kenya is some big foil to Nene and saying she couldn't handle her is bs; Nene read between the lines with Kenya and decided to distance herself. I would do the same. With that said, I never liked Nene and Kenya fighting tbh
