The 1 thing i like about Mark of the wolves is the City night life jazzy atmosphere. Reminds me of the Blue Mary music video that was in the Fatal Fury RB Special. Everytime i see the Garou intro where you see the Buildings of City of South Town and stages like Dong Hwan, Freeman and Rock, Everytime i see these stages, Blue Mary's Music Video always comes to my mind. I hope City of the Wolves keeps that same atmosphere and feel, that Jazzy Night Cityscape feel. Thank You for making these history videos. If i may ask, could you do a Lore video for Mr Karate? I'm still confused if it's cannon that Ryo becomes Mr Karate like from Wild Ambition, Neo Geo Battle and Buriki one. Or the Mr Karate that was in KOF13. Thank you again.

My brother had downloaded this on to his PC at the time. Easily one of the most underrated Fatal Fury and when they brought Rock to Cap vs SNK 2. It was cool to explain to people where he came from that wasn’t familiar with Garou

Yasuyuki Oda did say those characters that were found in the cancelled Mark of the Wolves sequel will not appear in the new game which I hope snk change their mind about. They shooting themselves in the foot if they just look over those characters. It'll be great to see Joe Higashi pupil and Gato's father making their appearance in the Fatal Fury timeline.

those character sketches were superb i've always loved the smooth snk animations, and you can easily see that the artists tried to retain those loose sketches into the final product

I'ma put it like this about Garou... This is one of those games where if you heard about it, you want to play it. And when you play it, you found out why it was worth it. That's what happened to me several years ago when I played it at an arcade in Northern KY. It was excellent. The graphics, the action, the sounds, the gameplay, to those that said Garou was SNK's SF 3rd Strike, ALL TRUE. Took a little while but I defeated the game with Khushnood Butt. Not Marco Rodrigues, Khushnood. Momma named him Khushnood, he Khushnood. But yeah... if yall haven't, play this extremely underrated classic. You will have fun.

I absolutely *adore* Fatal Fury and Garou is my favorite fighting game of all times. I still get pumped when I see the opening of the game. I didn't like KOF XIV much, but it has Rock as a DLC character, so I went with it. KOF XV has Rock, Jenet and Gato, which makes me very, very happy.

SNK really pushed the Neo*Geo hardware to it's limit with this title. It doesn't look like it was released on a then 9-year old gaming system. This is the only FF game I never played- but I'm hoping the upcoming FF title lives up to this one.

@@liliencalvel6151 It has some input lag and some audio glitch. Other wise it's decent. I looked up the ps2 version and I heard that SNK playmore fixed it. But it had some bug where a piece of text is missing.

Garou mark of the wolves is one of SNK best works due to story but also gameplay mechanics and characters and the risk they took with the fatal fury series and felt like it was a sequel to the whole franchise not just your ordinary sequel. A sequel that added mechanics that improved gameplay and added characters that are new but relate to previous members of the cast.

Please do a lore story about Mr Karate? You did a great job with Geese Howard and i would great for a Mr Karate lore. I personally dont know if Ryo becoming Mr Karate is cannon in Fatal Furt Wild ambition. Love your lore and documentary videos also your streams especially Sam Sho RPG!! Keep it up!!

One of my favourite pieces I own is the Garou MOTW Limited Edition Red Neo Geo Joystick 2 for PS2. It's a amazing game and I think I enjoy it more than 3rd Strike.

Well i will say the tease trailer thw graphics seems ok but they need to understand what made the first game so infamous was the overall estetics of the game. Cut scenes,style all of it. Is SNK mature now to make a complete game story wise? I hope so i really do.

GAROU: Mark of the Wolves will always be the Street Fighter III of the NEO•GEO. But Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition should've been a next-gen PS2 title in 2001 or 2002 that competes against the releases of 鉄拳TEKKEN 4, Virtua Fighter 4, Mortal Kombat V: Deadly Alliance, Dead or Alive 3, etc.

not agree with your review on the game , in 2000 i work to a big arcade that have 8 location . mark of the wolf is a great game , sadly the player can not connect with this new roster and player play other game , same type of failure of street fighter 3 new roster back in 97 , that why he wait 25 year for a new game oda failure
