I had like 10 neon tetras before... and then eventually numbers started to decrease. 😭 I didn't know what's wrong. I used Seachem Flourish Excel and i might have added to much. ❗ I'll add this video to my channel's curated videos - for reference in the future. Thanks!

Driftwood browning of the water doesn't permanently brown the water. That goes away within a few weeks with water changes for most woods. My tank is packed with driftwood and crystal clear. Purigen will clean those tannins out in a matter of a few weeks. In The fish industry a long time. Handled a lot of celebrities, athletes and high profile peoples tanks in Miami and Fort lauderdale. Including all the bass pro shops in South Florida.

Awesome video and love that tank! I'm new to the fish hobby, and at first in my 10 gallon I had neon tetras, black skirt tetras, and black as well as dalmatian mollies. And two mystery snails and 2 rabbit snails. I way over stocked as well as not knowing about cycling beforehand. So after about a month, the only ones left alive were 1 neon and 1 mystery snail. Lesson learned. I bought some more neons and also some red rosy minnows. It's been another month and all are happy and healthy, and thriving. I'm trying to find a good way to feed them all, because the rosy reds are little piggies and hoard the food before the neons get enough. I've fed from both ends of the tank but the rosy's go after the food on the other side as well. Any tips on what else I can do without overfeeding them to make sure they all get enough?

Captive bred animals should be living much longer than their wild counterparts. The breeding ethics for fish need to pick up their game, they are mass produced so I suspect a lot of inbreeding going on in these farms.

Hi there great video and it will help me care for the fish. I was wondering if you could help me. I am new to my aquarium and was looking at tetras for a starter fish. How many should I have for a 64L (14G) tank. I know they prefer larger numbers but don’t want too many that it will cause any harm, thanks in advance.

Hello everyone! Today I realised I overfed my fish(betta) and I don't know what to do... Should I fast him for a couple of days? And thanks to me being uneducated, I didn't know I had to remove the food he doesn't eat otherwise it would cause ammonia... I am afraid that it's ammonia poisoning, but I took out most of the uneaten food that remained for the last day or so(we took him 3 days go). Please help, I am super messy and don't know what to do.
