Boss cutscenes are very good!! Really shows what Sega Genesis is capable of with some extra power.

Honestly even they could be better. 32x isn’t being used to its fullest. This entire game during gameplay is a peice of cake for the 32x.

also a. arena mini boss references the death egg robot of the sonic 2 game, just that larger and with red elastic masking tape like arms and white ball hands

One of my favorite Sonic games, its also partially developed by those who designed Sonic CD which may explain a few reoccurring enemies and graphical art being VERY abstract and colorful, I give this game a solid 8/10 for generally well and explorative stages, far better gimmick fights than CD and generally being very forgiving

Sonic universe used to be surreal and abstract in the classic era, but Sega made it realistic for some reason. Also Chaotix is my fav sonic game too, and i agree with you.

This game needs a remake more than any other game. Its only on the 32x which failed and nobody really got to play it 😢 If they remade CD theres no reason not to remake chaotix

Fun fact: the actual phase three of metal sonic in sonic mania was inspired in metal sonic kai (da final boss) just that in mania its blue and its called " giga metal" instead of metal sonic kai

Great playthrough, i personally liked this game i think it's underrated, i know people have problem with the gameplay mechanic and how it was executed and i can understand that but the visuals, characters aesthetics and music really gave this game charm and personality that i think people should appreciate more, besides this game introduced team chaotix ( one of the best teams in the franchise imo).

I completely agree with you, this game is very underrated, it's also a shame that most of the fans don't even know it (even though it's better than Sonic Forces 😂)

@@NeoRageCH it comes with a cast cast that is what I’d like to call the classic chaotix not to be confused with sonic heroes and the fact that it was not really rereleased is pretty much making the game where to get the only real way to play it is by cartridge on a Sega genesis with a 32X attached or by emulators

Game is insanely well made ( even if the level design is a bit confusing and boring sometimes ). They put a lot of effort in the graphics and sound, bur the ending is quite disappointing

my idea of the boss is that the characters have to race eggman until he crashes with a wall when the race finishes. also knucks and partners have to score hits to the boss during the race

I definitely like that bc it takes advantage of sonics speed unlike most bosses in sonic have you cooped up in this little arena

I personally wish that the scrapped boss the sonic Cd forgotten round 2 (r2) was the boss of speed slider, that boss is a eggmobile wa giant motorcycle wheel under the main vehicle

@@NeoRageCHI think it means that they were playing in PAL 50hz instead of NTSC 60hz, 50 makes the game slower if not work properly with it. So they were probably playing the game slower and didn’t realized until later.

Knuckles chaotix means a strange adventure is coming, Egg catcher, Botanic base zone, Egg arms, Techno tower zone, Robo-Eggman, Mid-Boss - Amazing Arena zone, Egg Barrier, Marina Madness zone, Egg Projector, Amazing Arena, Egg Merry-Go, Speed Slider zone, Metal Sonic, Final Boss - Metal Sonic kai is a lot of adventure, can Sonic defeat Eggman in Sonic 3D blast? or Eggman will create another ultimate weapon and defeat sonic? Metal Sonic is really dead? or he will come back soon? Sonic can defeat Eggman without his ultimate creation= death egg, atomic destroyer? Sonic will meet with Metal Sonic again? or knuckles destroyed Metal Sonic already? or Metal Sonic who fight with knuckles is fake? or Metal Sonic destroyed in Sonic CD? or Metal Sonic already give up? or Metal Sonic get destroyed by hyper Sonic? There's a lot of questions I have, please make Sonic 3D + true ending
