25th April was not an ordinary date🫨 A month of planning took its flight on this date. Brief hours in Kathmandu then off to Mustang at 2:30 PM night bus. To travel to Mustang, you have to pay NPR 1000 for the permit from the immigration for the lower Mustang since it falls under the Annapurna conservation area and that price is for the SAARC countries & if you think of going to upper Mustang, you got to pay $500 for the permit (that’s a small information).
I must say that the bus was so comfortable😅 Took us 18 hours to reach Jomsom & another hour to Muktinath village. Jomsom reminded me so much of Ladakh but it had its own presence though. We visited Muktinath temple on the 26th afternoon & the weather was good. So many events happened during the visit.
Next day we took a cab to Dhumba Lake & stayed overnight in Marpha Village. We tried the Tibetan dress to take a lot of pictures but sadly it started to rain real bad🥲 but some how in between we managed to get good pictures & videos.
On 28th, we took the bus from Marpha village to Pokhara. For that you got to see us again in the next episode😆
