I Tried to Win a Tournament With Luke

We finished our road to master with Luke and now it's time to try him out in a tournament! This actually was from a few weeks ago (I think before the drive rush change and Rashid release), but should still be some good matches.
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. I think your Luke looks really interesting because you do have those fundamentals and play that kind of game like you said but you do a lot of throws too. I feel like you legit 60% of the time go for the throw over the strike at least in the first half of the video, that’s just a feeling though. I’d be curious to see you try out modern Luke actually. Maybe modern you hit those reactions against caba? Idk. Either way nice run.

im in gold 5 with luke currently i plsyed mortal kombat casually before picking up sf and i did a tiny bit of injustice im one rank off plat 1 i decided to take the next step forward to going into a tournament hoping i do well i probs wont but want to lesrn from the experience and better myself

you guys noticed at 11:20 it says CA for him but for some reason LV 3 came out instead? Is it because of the grey health?

Huh that's interesting. Yea I think he had just then recovered enough health for it to be lvl. 3 instead of CA. pretty wild. That or Grey health doesn't count for CA but then it shouldn't say CA.

What is the overall consensus on this guy? I see mena saying Luke isn’t anything special just solid. I see punk saying Luke isn’t even top 5. I think he’s really solid, amazing neutral insane NRS style buttons, great fireball, good damage.. but when you have fireball drive rush characters, JP, and your damage can get fucked if you miss the perfects.. And I think that is one of the biggest things. Mena drop perfect knucks at evo and gamers 8. So did bonchan vagabond and other great luke players. And that can be a damage reduction or just a flat out drop and lost combo. entire rounds and even some games lost over a missed perfect knuckle.. and the people missing them are pros.

Smp comes out fastest but he got a lot of good buttons out of dr almost all of them are pretty good depends on situation but cmk catches ppl walking back or bhp is sneaky for the counter if they try to check u , fmp for the overhead into lp dr combo is also good to cash out and win
