WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer in Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

And I'm glad to be EXO-L since their "hard times". I'm always here, even though I had to lose Kris at the beginning, as my first bias. If I remember all that, it just makes me feel so lucky to get to know them. and luckier because we grew together through those hardships, and became more stronger. I've been here for 9 years for EXO. Yes, during that times a lot of fans left exo because they thought exo will not last long. But i'm glad stay with them until today. Even i still supporting kris, tao and luhan activities. Sometimes i go watch their movie if they have new movies. To me, there's 12 in my heart.

You know what, one of million reason i admired EXO is because they become popular because of their talent. Their hardship and pain behind their success didnt overshadow their success. That why people still assume them get everything served because they dont really show their pain but being professional. People know them because of talent as artist not by seek attention being the most hardship, painful group to be on top. Back then the idol's story not be open like nowadays, that fans can literally know everything about their idol and suddently assumed they were the most pain, hardship of group. But actually for me, EXO are the strongest group ever in kpop. There are the proof but dont want write for now😂

YES!!! So true. Ppl like to sell hardship story nowadays. Me too, I find it arrgghh not good. Like everyone work really hard so why compare the hardship isnt it?? If it is like that then so many ppl in this world that deserve more. Whats worse for EXO cases (in my opinion & based on some my experience encounter antis etc), some ppl try to make EXO journey and talent from something to nothing...that is WRONG. SO WRONG.

It's not long since I became an exol. After knowing about them and their struggle the only thing I want to say is "A BIG THANKS TO THOSE WHO WERE EXOLS FROM THE VERY START" Because you were supporting them back then, I got to know EXO now. And it needs no saying how thankful I'm to EXO for showing up in my life. And one thing is for sure now, "Once I'm in, I'm never leaving them behind".

As an EXOL since 2012 The pain is still here, the heartbreak is still here. It's living with you. Even if you to erase it with the thought of EXO smiling and laughing or their good times together, it just don't go away. It's not that easy becoming an EXOL. It's also not that easy becoming an EXO member. It became part of you, your past and what EXO and your fandom had become now. We have been to so many obstacles and yet here we are stronger than before. Some may have left us but we are still one. EXO became part of my happiness but they are also one of the reason why I'm sad. Just seeing them sad and tired. I proved to myself again that WOW I STILL CAN'T MOVE ON. It's so hard to be left out just like that bcs never once I imagined that we would be like this. but whenever I think of that I put my self into EXO's shoes. Those times when they have to change all their choreographies, those times where they all put their self into practice more 🥺

FOR REAL! - I've been an exo-l for years now. I know all the stories from start to end & back forwards but it still hurts me somehow, even though exo are in a differend place and even a stornger mindset, they are mor independent and more happy, I still watch it and want to cry as if I'm experiencing it all over again. every time I see it I relize something else vs the last time ... It's really wonderful to see all their wins and awards and records, I remember how much I screamed and got excited about each win. But the most beautiful thing is precisely today, when EXOover the years (and especially in recent years) have told us over and over again: '' Prizes and wins are great, but more important for us to be happy, to be with the fans. 'It's more important for us to show a better appearance of ourselves on stage than all the tension and competition in winning, we want to do what's good for us and not be stressed and run all day' '. They have said it in the last 3 years at least 20 times, each time from a different member and in slightly different words. So today I am less excited about it and much much more proud of the path they have chosen - to be happy while doing what they love and what makes them happy and not being in a stressful competition. They are not just idols to admire but a real inspiration for life.

There is a VCR before the song Promise and was translated to the language of the country they visited. That actually hurt even more esp on Tao's last stage where Suho and other members broke down in tears. It does break our hearts as EXO-ls but the hurt is twice for the members themselves. They deserve more bec their talent is out of this Earth. But I know despite all the hardship EXO and EXOl will still flourish til the end.

SUHO's speech was like that because he's hurt. They promised and that's why they've established the slogan WE ARE ONE. He said those words because he/they truly have a great, most genuine, and has really a serious bond between them and we all saw that. He's the leader of EXOK and Kris left--the leader of EXOM so imagine what he felt when he received the news. They are so young at that time and it is the age where we are prone to feel strong emotions and they did create memories together and they were really happy before that 2014 hardship happened.

Exo have worked so hard, far more than we will ever know. They have faced all sorts of problems but they have remained strong and keep working hard. I have watched this video many times but I cried afresh with you Sir Austin. It’s been a long and hard journey with Exo but it’s well worth it. I will never regret my decision to stan them.

PROMISE.. just Imagine how we felt after all these years and after the members left and our fear of the future .. Then they come and sing to us, openly and honestly: ''Thank you, love, sorry.'' This is exactly the words we needed and this is what connects us strongly to this day. Their sincerity, their courage, their gratitude and their love reached out to us and came back to them back !!! That part of chen always gets me where he sang the lyrics "your heart that must be in such pain, i will hold you tight" that hits so hard how he constantly thinks of EXO-L since debut days til now how he constantly assure their happiness but when chen already find his they don't support him. I only started listening to EXO around the time Tao was leaving. It was painful enough learning about ex-members, and going through losing one. To EXO-Ls who have been there from the start, you guys are the real MVPs.

the first time i read the lyrics of the song, I cried so much. not bcoz it was dedicated to the EXO-Ls but bcoz it is their message to the ex members. the rap of chanyeol, "and i pray that you'll be happy like in the beginning...thank you ...i'm sorry... i love you" then suho-do- baekhyun part " those joyous days, my birthday's stage I spent them with you... when your words became such strength to me (i know)...I promise you I wont disappoint you..your heart that must be in pain I will hold it tight"... the feels...

These are the reasons why I support EXO since they debuted..there are lots of new kpop group but no one can replace EXO.. THEY ARE LEGENDS.... PROUD EXO-L/ERI HERE!! 💖💖 But Kris, Luhan, and Tao have reasons why they leave, it's not about they don't want to be part of EXO but they have personal issues.They still remember their brothers and I've watched the clips on their show where they reminiscing those hardships and happy moments with their brothers. If ever eyes can speak they definitely say that they missed their brothers.. .let's just support them no matter what.. For me, they are still MEMBERS OF EXO! 💖

expect exo to make you feel a lot of emotions.. I'm one of those exo-L who stayed with them after everything that happened and I can say that it's the best thing that I did for them.. watching this takes me back to that time where it hurts the most for exoLs and exo, until now I can't listen to promise.. I am very thankful to those baby-Ls right now for loving exo, especially this military enlisting season for them.. just wait patiently, good music will be served sooner or later.. 💙
