Neptune is one of the two Ice Giant Planets in the Solar System. This frozen world was discovered back in 1846. But, due to the lack of technology, we couldn't learn much about this frozen alien world. Neptune is about 450 crore kms away from the Sun. This distance is the main problem. But today, we know many things about Neptune and we even have so many real pictures of Neptune. Watch this video to know more interesting facts about our solar system's last planet, Neptune.

NASA sent Voyager-2 Spacecraft in 1977 to explore the outer planets in our Solar System. After 13 years of space journey, it reached Neptune and voyager 2 sent back so many details and real pictures of Neptune. Neptune is very cold but, it is no the coldest planet in our Solar System. Saturn, the seventh planet from the Sun is actually the coldest planet in the Solar System. The reason for this is Neptune actually generates heat from its core. But Uranus core is much colder than Neptune's core. So, it won't generate much heat like Neptune. This maybe because of an ancient collision of a big space object with Uranus, which depleted most of its heat. Eventhough, when considering the average temperature, Neptune is the Coldest Planet in the Solar System. Neptune is 57 times bigger than Earth in the case of Volume. It is also 4 times wider than our Earth. Neptune also have 27 time stronger magnetic field than Earth. Like all giant Planets, Neptune also have rings. But its rings are very faint that we can barely see them. Like Earth, Neptune also have auroras in the polar region and also in the side regions too. Only 14 moons of Uranus were discovered until now. Triton is the biggest moon of Neptune and it is actually bigger and massive than the biggest Dwarf Planet Pluto. Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to visit Neptune and Triton until today. The distance is the main problem in exploring that frozen world. But, NASA and other Space agencies are planning some future missions to Neptune and Triton. Watch this video to know more interesting facts about Neptune-The Last Planet In The Solar System.
