Yeah definitely more of a fan of the progression in the previous games than Fallout 4, I miss having skill points to assign at each level up instead of just perks

@@serPomiz skill points are not a good system for leveling up. When you level up you should feel the new power you gained witch just doesnt happen with skill points, ok maybe you will do like 2 more damage with you gun but not all of the skill work like that. Like lock pick in order for your ability to pick higher locks to increase no mader if its fallout 3 or new vegas you need at least 2 level ups where in fallout 4 you instantly gain the ability to pick higher locks, and it's like that for most of the non combat skills. You know hiw in New vegas the levels where you got a perk where better than the ones where you just got skill points it because you can get a new ability that you can use right of the bat not have to sink like 2 or even 3 or 4 levels if you have low intelligence. If you want to understand better check out many a true nerds video fallout 4 is better than you think he does a much better job a explaining than I did(Waring.its a very long videos)

Fun thing, the first time I played the game, I was young and stupid, and I didn't realize the person who owned the game had modded it to cheat. I crafted the Alien Blaster, went over, and blasted the Deathclaw to hell

I mean, in all fairness, you _are_ given a minigun and power armor. I feel like that is enough for the average newbie to the fallout franchise to think "turn that kaiju into swiss cheese". At least, it worked for me, given it was my first fallout game.

...And that's why New Vegas is better than any Bethesda game, the number of unique weapons you get, if you even find one at all, aren't something from a quest reward, unless if that quest you did to get it was at least an hour long, and quite difficult, making the Uniques actually Unique.

@@420mralucard maybe in 4, I never found interesting side quests to play so I can't say much, but in skyrim that is pretty common, my favorite is a legion soldier that had you retrieve his basic sword, and pays you with it

@@theinternetpolice2078 maybe, but I found 3 side quests that were somewhat interesting in my playthrough of fallout 4, deathclaw eggs, Cabot house, and the forge place, but that one is really nothing special outside of the fact you actually get to talk to someone you are gonna kill, you don't get to do that often in fallout 4

@@Nerbit13098 I'm pretty sure you can't use the book to boost stats on my first play through I didn't know it was there until I was level 70~ and all my special was maxed and when I picked up the book the only option was 'Do nothing' and then it got added to my inventory like usual

If you use the conveyer belt duplicate glitch with survival lowered stats you can get extremely high Stat boosts

@@kingduckie9135 The book let's you increase one SPECIAL stat by 1 but if the stat is maxed (10) you can't use the book on it unless, again, you lower it temporarily

Go for it my man it is super fun, obviously if you are doing it just for fun I would recommend at the very least equipping some knuckle dusters for some added oomph :)

I would recommend doing it with no clothes too, it’s a bit easy NGL

I actually did use it at around the middle of the run just forgot to mention it, I think I put it into intelligence so I could have a total of 2 and get the perk that makes stims heal you more

That's not right at all. Killing any named institute NPCs will automatically trigger '' escape from the institute'', even if you're undetected. You are being less than truthful.
