Leave a like & a comment if you'd like to see more of these, it's the only way we can now what you like or not! :) Here are the templates I used for this! They are not complete with details, but a framework for the shops if you want to create something similar yourself! Templates: bit.ly/hp-book-nook. Also check out description for the code if you want that! Thanks everyone, hope you enjoyed! ❤️ Thanks to our Patrons: www.patreon.com/nerdforge

Nerdforge you should make one of the class room or the dinning hall or maybe the Hogwarts moving staircases, that would be fun to see you make it where the staircases really move.

This is beyond fantastic! Thank you for sharing your templates! You are correct about the weathering effect bringing the shops to life, but what about a bit of a matte varnish on the bottom corners of the windows to make them look dusty and old as well? Just a thought! Please keep up the amazing work!!!!!!!

As someone who has been to Universal's Harry Potter themed park, this book nook would fit in perfectly! The attention to detail with the lights turning on or off as if someone was there, and the colored lights indicating some kind of mysterious magic, completely captures the wondrous, mysterious tone of, not only the books and movies themselves, but also a park designed by dozens of creative people, and Martina did it all by herself. I love this! Well done!

I've also seen elsewhere where people have done full dioramas of Bag End and other Tolkien locations, which I thought were fantastic! This feels like a little relic that a seasoned witch or wizard might have in their study kind of reminds me of the little dragons that champions would choose from in the Triwizard Tournament for the first task,, and the stores would come to life with sounds of spells and explosions and the zooming of brooms like it was a live model of diagon alley. Students or kids would come in and ogle at how interesting it is whenever they'd pop in,, that sort of thing :)

This is so good! The paint job is amazing! The lighting effects look really cool and Oh my gosh! Your bookcase is a thing of WONDER!!! (I always used to think that a 'Book nook' was a place to sit and read in peace and quiet - by a bookshelf... I guess I was wrong!)

I would LOVVVVVE so much to see a video by you teaching us about how to create custom lighting like yours. I think I'd be totally fine with just connecting single LED strips to make them longer or whatever but when it comes to customizing them, I wouldn't even know where to start. Especially in terms of the colors of wires you use from project to project. I freaking LOVE how this turned out! As a Harry Potter fan and all things fantasy, I can absolutely say your channel is my FAVORITE!

Hey Martina, thank you so much for this inspiring video. Especially the overall magical atmosphere and the special effects at Ollivanders are so amazing. I think you really brought this piece of fantasy to reality. And as we love to bring our model worlds with realistic motion to life, we would like to combine a bit of your atmosphere with unexpected, magical movements within our next project. We ourselves are excited to see what will happen there. So far, only a few boundary conditions have been set, for example that we also use Arduino for control and that the diorama has to fit on the bookshelf! All the best and keep on doing this outstanding mission Thomas
