Larry you have to visit JM Lexus in Margate Florida. It was Jim Moran who was the first Toyota dealer in the United States. Toyoda wanted to meet this American that was generating so many sales outside of Japan for him and after meeting Jim Moran it was Jim Moran who gave Mr.Toyoda the idea for a more luxurious line of vehicles which we know as the Lexus line. Jim Moran has a beautiful museum at JM Lexus enterprise’s which you would have a great time learning about the influence that Mr.Moran had in making Toyota what it is today.

I love Nagoya , lived there from 1980-1984, graduated from high school at. Nagoya International School. Best time of my life. You should visit the Honda museum at Suzuka Circuit. And if you ever get the opportunity to visit. Barbers Motorsports museum, it’s the best place on earth.

Larry! Love the pristine condition survivor cars ... especially Toyota. Would love to see more of the same; Nissan, Subaru, the whole Japanese JDM lineup, and also American; Ford, Chevy. It tickles the imagination that there are actually like-new examples of these lovelies out there. I'd like to see stories on how these cars are maintained or stored for 30 plus years... and still roadworthy.

Oooohhh... When you panned down at that '66 corolla I got the biggest smile on my face!!! Many memories of my old man owning a white with red interior and a blue one with grey interior (both automatic 'Toyoglide') and both impeccable! Also loved seeing some ae82 Corollas at the start on those advertisements (I'm an owner of several lol) 😊 awesome video dude

The 2000GT EV was so battle scarred because it was actually driven around using electricity before Tesla was even a thing. The car was also wrapped in "futuristic" EV livery and logos, and it spotted TE37s. It was a wild time. It was also probably when Toyoda decided not to double down on the whole BEV nonsense, at least not yet

A lot of the vehicles were yanked from the pallette town site in odaiba, Tokyo when they shut down the Toyota Meg@Web there. I would imagine restoration jobs will have to restart one day when they felt like it. The Nagoya site always had this "it is what it is" feel to it, despite being the museum located right at the HQ.

Some of the designers of the Toyota also did the Jag and Datsun 240Z. You can see the same influence of each car. Yamaha has a long history of working with Toyota. Also Yamaha had a hand in engine performance and chassis design. Later yamaha designed the 2JZ head. Then designed the engine and Yamaha's musical inst department tuned the exhaust tone on the LFA.

Yamaha also designed the 3S-GE/GTE heads. They have yamaha on the casting. I think maybe they might've had a hand in most of the GE coded engines but not 100%

10:22 you say its ugly, its super ahead of its time. The entire hatch is the piece of glass and the piece of glass alone. Thats a design that came back in the Volvo xc30 and more modern cheap hatches in Europe. But it started from this tercel.

I’d say all of those vehicles are part of Toyota’s collection and have been with them since new. Too bad you didn’t see any of the mileage on the vehicles. The machines are probably old ones that were taken off the production floor. All manufacturers have their own private collections, just a few let people see them
