Place looks filthy! Lol. Anyway, thanks for being kind and not mentioning it. Anyone who lives with a German Shepherd will understand my constant struggle with dog hair!! Nightmare, but he's worth it. 😀❤️

I first watched videos of Saber five years ago. I have shared his videos with many friends. I just lost my beloved dog Charlie and can only survive by watching some of my favorite dogs. Once again, Saber has brought me incredible happiness. Thank you so much.

Its wonderful to have a nice, safe "off leash" area for dogs where you can meet with other owners and the dogs can socialize. I know my dogs' socialize better without me 'holding' on to them - I think they feel restrained and frustrated when trying to socialize with other dogs while under direct control. Of course I always have to hope that all the dogs that are visiting have good owners that have trained their dog well and can control them off leash but its great for the dogs :) Nothing better then a great lot of well socialized dogs all having fun at the beach :) They all looked so happy! Saber looked like he was having a great time and was doing just fine with a group. Loved it when he was chasing the birds, he looked so beautiful doing that and I had to laugh that he did it with his ball, he really loves that ball. Bath time is fun! Its always an affair at our home.. dog and bath and I get all bathed at one time :) Usually the other dog and the cat get wet too cause everyone has to crowd in the bath to watch whoever is getting bathed :) I tried teaching "weave" and it worked well after they knocked me over about 40 times - it was a great 'balance' exercise for me too :) Puppy energy - don't you wish you could bottle it up :)

I had me start looking for a GSD like yours what a beautiful boy, he is differently a working blood line and he is very intelligent you can teach him anything you want good luck

I absolutely love watch you and your family hanging out. Saber is a great dog: beautiful, smart and very loving. You both are so good with him. He is lucky to have a great home. I am looking to get a German Shepherd and I especially appreciate your tips on checking out breeders. I won't be taking a boat to get my dog, but I am willing to drive a ways to get a good breeder. Also, all your stuff on diet was great. Saber has a beautiful coat and lots of energy. Just need to find a place here in the states (I am in New York) to deliver the raw food at a good price. Saber loves those chicken wings! Would be great My wife would never allow the dog in our bathtub! It would be good if you could show more about all the work that is involved. Does Saber ever have poop accidents in the house? Keep making videos. We love them!

I want to thank the makers of these 'Saber' videos. I've been watching them all. I am shortly expecting to get my first dog after twenty years of wanting a German Shepherd, and have learnt more about the practicalities of owning and caring for one watching these clips than from any other source. Saber is a wonderful, good natured dog and is lucky to have found such an engaged family to live with. Great to see you on top of his training. But I'm curious to know how he fares living indoors... I suppose that's a necessity in the UK. How many times do you have to walk him daily? I can imagine the dog hair issue, and we will not be allowing our dog indoors, except possibly into the kitchen. Keep posting your and Sabers adventures please, I'm loving it! @angela panae. Your home looks lovely and beautifully kept. God knows how you stay on top of it with Saber running around like that. Great work all of you.

I love all your videos, especially this one! Saber is so similar to my own GSD, Shadow, both in looks & character. Shadow is also half working line so he's inexhaustible too!

Hi mate, I heard you say he might be a working line. Not all but I'd say 70% of working lines are straight back German Shepherds. I see yours has a lowered back. Although he could be, his drive is different to my 3 protection trained dogs! - Just out of interest, where abouts is the beech youre at?

Saber is a West German Showline. I heard when he said hes a working line but no Saber is a showline. The reason his Grandfather has VA1 is because he does Schutzhund(IPO). In Europe it is Compulsory for German Shepherds(all types including the West German Showline) to complete it in order to pass the SV standard.
