The first one simply looks like an "adult" Fidget Cube to me and I love that. Just so many things "older" humans might fidget with but can’t because they are worried what other might think. The light switch and the key are particularly interesting for me personally.

Wow, that sink faucet knob is definitely real. I have a feeling that the people who created this fidget toy just took a sink faucet knob right off of the bathroom to make this product. Isn’t that crazy? How could they do such a thing?

I really like this one 9:06 I know it was a Twitter post and it was viral on Twitter, but it has a bit of a vintage vibe to it, probably because of the fidget spinner and the doorstop and even the hot water adjuster knob

My Father-in-law made a sensory box similar to the play and learn control panel toy for my husband when my husband was a toddler. He called it the Busy Box. It was a box with a speaker and dial pad. Each of the numbers emitted a different tone when pressed, and I believe there were a few toggle switches that maybe changed the tones? When we had our first child, he made the Busy Box 2.0, which included extra features. There was a counter from zero to twenty, and two switches - one started/stopped the counter and the other changed the direction of the counter, so it would either count up or down. He also added a bunch of lights with switches and buttons that would control pattern/ speed of the flashing or let you switch through each light one at a time. My kids LOVED that thing and played with it for YEARS! It was the perfect toy to play spies/ detective with - breaking codes and diffusing bombs were favorite games.

Honestly the first fidget cube is amazing. As a special education teacher, i know many of my students would be thrilled to be able to play with so many everyday opjects without distrubing anyone by switching of lights or turning on the water.

I love to see more ADHD content creators. It makes me realize that the quirks I have due to my adhd is normal. have a 12 sided fidget toy that my mom got for me. I haven’t seen it since but I love it.

I often see Jackie reviewing baby toys and rating them poorly but they’re great for infants/toddlers - the age group they’re made for

That’s because Jackie is rating how she finds them personally, she normally makes a point to emphasise that as even different individuals with ADHD will have different preferences when it comes to fidget toys. Those baby toys can sometimes be good fidgets for others eg. Older neurodivergent people, also that market (of adults that want fidget toys) is still quite small so companies often will avoid marketing towards that demographic directly, much like how many seemingly pointless “as seen on TV” gadgets are actually designed with disabled people in mind but wouldn’t be marketable if sold as such.

She’s not rating the product as a bad thing she’s rating it as something she personally isn’t fond of. She also often says herself that these toys would probably be more engaging for infants, young children, or simply other people with different preferences

I feel like the sensory fabric square things would be really good for a creative writing segment in a classroom. Like the kids have to practice using different adjectives to describe each square in its own way without repeating the same descriptors

I work in childcare, and we have the Jelly-Fish looking toy in the baby room. They mostly just chew on it, but I love messing around with it. I definitely recommend it for all ages. We also have the sensory mats for that room, too. They love them!

I think the fabrics feeling similar to everyday objects could be great for people who have high-sensitivity to textures in a few different ways. Like you said it could help introduce it to little ones, but it could also be great to have them as a calming fidget. Say a person likes riding the bus or doing the dishes; they could use a scrap of fabric that feels like a bus seat to anchor and calm themselves.

When I saw the fidget toy with the faucet and key, I legit thought someone went to a hardware store and made a fidget toy. Although to be honest I bet you could diy a cool fidget toy made with hardware store supplies. Also the wooden panel with lights could've been cool if they would've made a puzzle element to it. Also so much of my childhood in these fidget toys LOL, Simon, Bop it and the cube seemed like a cross between a rubiks cube and Merlin LOL! Love you!!

Thought the same thing, you can get all those items at a hardware store and attach to a wooden block. And they should have done something with that board to make it interesting.

I feel like mats could have been done so much better, but are super easy to make if you know how to sew. Just take scrap fabric and maybe make thin pillows or bath towel thickness.

The 1st one looks like a prototype, where everythings just been stuck on to something else, but hasnt been refined 😂 Love the 2nd one. It also reminds me of bop-it The 3rd one didnt excite me either. You're just flipping switches

My son (18mon) has the first fidget thing with all the crazy stuff on it. He loves it!! He’ll spin the spinner and unscrew the screw and just enjoys trying to figure everything out. Not too fun to have it thrown at you in toddler frustration though 😂

This was my thinking. Light switch, wheels, keys, knobs, all things toddlers want to play with in real life. But I'm not sure if this cube (as big as it is) is safe for under 3. If it is, it'd be a great portable version of those.

Those texture tiles seem like they'd be easy to fill if you were handy at sewing. Might get them and try it. I have an idea of doing a texture wall for my rambunctious kittens. (Not the glitter one of course)

I had a "Flash Pad 2.0" growing (late 2000s/early 2010s) that was similar to the cube but flat. Seeing that cube unlocked memories that I didn't know I had.

The Jumble Dream cube (that teal block at the beginning) was something we got for our toddler for xmas 2 months before he turned 3 and it was a great hit. Of course he kept removing the doorstop so that was taken away on day 1 but it's been great for Dr appts and long car rides. He lived the keys and lock and has tried countless times to stick the key in the back side of our front doorknob (the inside where you lock it by twisting or with your fingers). Right idea but not quite the execution. 😂 I enjoy fiddling with it at times too, although the faucet knob is cheap plastic stuff and the base of his is cracked. Still a cool toy but don't let em lose that yellow nut or that side is useless.

Ok I'm so gratified to see a lock and key on this thing! As a kid I ALWAYS wanted to be the one to unlock the door because I looovveeeddd the feel of the key scrape/clicking into the lock - and I could never explain WHY!!! Makes so much sense now.
