It’s great that people can purchase high-performance springers off the shelf, but being the old stone that I am, I prefer the good ol’ days of my modified Retaliator

@@thenerfherder9586I still live in those days because it still is incredibly powerful, and also it’s cheaper to do than buying 3d printed stuff. (Yes I’m aware of the nexus pro, but I can get more performance from this if I install a half dart kit with a long barrel and a 12kg spring)

I'm more into springers and plinking, but it's still cool to see how far electronic mods have advanced, especially in Stryfe's, which I haven't seen on store shelves in 6+ years.

I’ve been watching since 2015, and even though I haven’t nerfed in 4-5 years, I do still watch all your videos. To me, the hobby progression is bittersweet. On one hand, it’s “look how far we’ve come” but also, Hasbro hasn’t changed with the times, which you’ve said before isn’t likely because liability. As you said in the 2022 review, they led the way for so long and it’s sad to see them fall behind.

Throwback! I remember seeing that Rapidstrike in your 430 dart challenge, and I used to watch your Dahamer Swarmfire integration for an hour non-stop when I was 7! It would have been amazing if you featured the Poonbow to show how super high end nerf has changed, Good Video,Thanks for all the good memories Coop!

The Strife at 14:20 reminds me of a Custom you did way back in the days. it was some NERF with a carry handle you cut off and added a flat top and picatinny to it. then you painted it tan with black details. that Blaster was the Dream of my Childhood

was honestly expecting some of the Demolisher mods you did to pop up, got to see some of the other mods you did though! honestly im still using IMRs in my stryfe but i recently got a Dart zone spectrum so thats been the replacement for my stryfe Hope to see more mods from you in the future coop

I wonder if the future of Nerfing is going to be more of the dart side than on the blaster side. Improving dart design for better accuracy even at lower FPS would be a really interesting change to the hobby. I’m a plinker, so high accuracy springers are what I really like. Seeing more accuracy would be really fun for me.

As someone who mods, i think its an understatement to say that modding is dead, rather its more niche. If you're a competitive player u dont need to mod these days, but people still integrate and overhaul.

I remember "modding" a new gun was just a shell that made a stryfe look like a kriss vector and painting it to look cool Now I just finished adding a second flywheel cage to my ma40.

Out of all of these the Strayven is still one of the coolest blasters he modified Honorable mention goes to the Dahmer which is 2 Swarmers and a Rapidstrike combined

Stryfes are still fairly easy to come by in the UK but the Swordfish's smoother shell looks a lot nicer with body kits and we never got a clear Stryfe.

For a kiddo like me I thought a 9kg fitted pump retaliator was performing at 100FPS and pretty good, but now that I think about all the other blasters like the DZP MK3 and all that I realize that its not really that great lol

Yeah i remembered most of these from your old videos. Doesn’t the rapidstrike uzi used to have a switch and battery at the back? I remember building caliburns back then, now i just buy injection molded high performance blaster
