I don't think it's so much that Discord ONLY cares about Fluttershy, he just cares more about her than the others; pretty sure he would have helped them out regardless whether she was captured or not...he's just MORE willing to help since she is :3

I guess I'm one of the very very few ones who thinks the new Changelings look absolutely unbelievable over the top AMAZING. They were my favorite species before, but NOW I'm 100% sure that'll never change... even when we'll see seaponies one day. My only "problem" was that the redemption of every single changling was a little sudden. But you can't really do that better in just 40 minutes... so I'm okay with that too.

if you were all wondering what the changelings turn into, they are apparently stag Beatles that that transform into rainbow stag Beatles and they reason why they have crystals around their necks is to tell what gender they are, and if you look at some of the other changelings their horns are more bigger than the rest so I guess that who the male's are.

This episode totally made my day! I loved how the Reformed Four had to be the heroes and defeat Chrysalis. And although the ending seemed a little rushed, what with Thorax suddenly transforming and the other changelings just following his example, even though they have only TAKEN love so far, now they suddenly know how to 'share'? But I have grown to like their new designs and I really hope that we will see more of the new changelings in season 7, preferably helping to battle Chrysalis.

I for once loved the new changelings, they are absolutely adorable, and i think thorax looks amazing...and even though i kinda want3ed a song, i think it was absolutely amazing for an episode....this finale got to 1st place on finales for me and, believe it or not, it even surpassed season 2 premier on two parters list.......and i loved your reaction....keep up the good work ;3

I'm still amused the offhanded guess I made after watching the first half came true. That Thorax would beat Chrysalis because love freely shared was stronger than stolen love. Though I didn't quite expect it to happen by him overloading her with sharing it. Or inspiring the other changelings to follow suit. (I was expecting him to inspire a bunch of fellow defectors, but I was ready to see a faction stick with Chrysalis.)I do like they stayed bug ponies at least. I wonder if the fact they now all look unique reflects the fact Thorax sees them all as people who are worth knowing personally, while Chrysalis only viewed them as disposable minions. If you remember her monologue about her plan, she more or less said most of the love and power was going to be hers. It does kind of back up my theory Thorax wasn't the only unhappy 'ling. He was just the first to seriously seek a better way. And succeed beyond any dreams he may have had. Notice when Starlight is talking, there are other changelings who are showing signs of not being happy. And I bet Thorax isn't the first who was treated poorly for daring to wonder if there might be a better way. To hear that someone found a way for them to no longer starve? I can buy that they would jump on it.

I am totaly agree with your reaction. I pretty much had the same thoughts. The only thing I'm afraid of is that Starlight is going to replace Twilight in the net season or movie. It's not like don't like Starlight. It would be ok for me even If she would become an element of harmony cause I really like her only It looked like she is going to be the main character in the viitor too. I loved this secondary characters thing only I don't want any replacement. Twilight didn't really had a big role in season six and I don't want her become like Celestia... In rest I really like this. I just hope Hasbro won't do what I'm afraid of.

One Problem Remains. Kings can't lay eggs they can only fertilize the queen's eggs, how can changelings continue to reproduce if they don't have a queen anymore, aren't they like bees or ants? how is their anatomy? can they reproduce with each other? P.S I have read some fan-fics and their methods of getting love is ..... {Interesting} they needed to do this to feed having a symbiotic relationship with the Equestrians, does this change mean they don't have to eat anymore? Will they rebuild using the same changing material or with actual wood and stones? We need the changelings to tell us their history and anatomy. What's Next Sea Ponies? Sphinx? Aliens? or Humans lost in Equestria? Also anypony here agree that they must start traveling the whole world?

all though this episode I kept shouting at the screen "there changelings remember". Back when starlight made friends with trixy I had an idea that starlight, trixy and discord (along with Luna and sunset) should all get together at fluttershy's for a reformed villains book club and have tea and cucumber sandwiches; but this is so much better. However I don't think we will see trixy and discord together again until pigs fly. Thorax should say "I'm finished finally I am a beautiful Butterfly" and that thing that caterpillars use to change into a butterfly is called a chrysalis and speaking of chrysalis I want to see Queen chrysalis come back maybe with a new type of changelings that cans share love and have to take it. however I wonder if there is a minimum amount of love that changelings need to consume before they can change like caterpillars needing to eat before they change . butterflys still drink nectar but that helps the plant by spreading pollen where as caterpillars eat leaves that is destructive to the plant; is this the same for changelings.

My only complains about this finale are: - I wanted an explanation (or something) about how the mane 6, Spike and the princesses were captured, I mean I think that wans't easy for they - The finale minutes were kind of....deus ex machina with that changeling power, but I don't have problem and I like the changelings 'nice' forms :) - Where was Sunburst all this time?!!! I also think that the fact Chrysalis was stripped of her army was VERY harsh :/ And we didn't have song, but thats not big deal Anyway I totally loved this finale!!! Twilight's Kingdom is still my number 1 finale but To Where and Back Again is my number 2, with potential to become my 1st XDD Good video, reaction and afterthoughts I agree with the most :)

You forgot the Musical, that was Starlight centered. Yeah this finale was awesome. Is it my favorite finale? Nope, but it sure as hell is better than last season's finale (which I thought was meh overall). I really liked how new changeling looks, but I think as a compromise would have been better if the colors were deeper and not pastel. I've seen plenty of insects with deep reds, emeralds, violets, and darker colors.

I hope that, at the very least, Thorax's voice will stay the same. I really like his voice. Also, I'm glad Chrysalis didn't get automatically reformed. It would have been too forced.
