I have been listening to qawalis since few years, It's such a coincidence that I found this beautiful kalam earlier today in the voice of Mehboob Qawal for the first time, then I Was looking for other versions and suddenly this one appeared, which was actually uploaded today. It was a four hour recording session that included about 12 tracks/kalams chosen with care. I'm sure all will be edited and released in time for everyone to enjoy. Tuqeer put his heart into the preparation for this day and the result was rewarding for all of us.

This was such a wonderful Mehfil of DJ 2020, Tauqeer and Khurram Both were prepared, they created such beautiful atmosphere. I have heard this kalam before only in voice of Haji Mehboob qawwal and Bakshi Salamat, This was such a pleasent surprise. and the best thing is they sung it completely. maza a gaya

Perfect for those evenings.. when you feel light hearted. melody is like that slow walk in summer evening on a beach..with your own self.. It's like that candle in the corner of your heart...which stays and burns slowly... having that flame of pure love... observing seasons.... Different Winds.. Colors of nights...shapes of moon.. Shades of mornings..

In the footsteps of their grandfather Tuqeer Ali Khan, they stand out among the modern Qawwals by sticking to the rich tradition in which ornamentation is not dependent on using electronic machines but in the artistic rendition and humbleness. Can't understand the language completely but absolutely love the chalan (movement) of the song. Very powerful yet soothing and peaceful voice of Tuqeer Ali. Have been following him for some time now and absolutely loving it. However, I wished the high pitch support voice (front row extreme right) was a little more consistent. He too is good and he is executing a pretty difficult task but at times I feel his support goes a little bit off.

My daily dose. I work long hours in a skyscraper in Europe and pretty much everyone around me is local and listening them talking in their language makes me homesick so I put my headphones and start listening to these dream journey qawalis and man I don't need smoke breaks anymore. This music is so addicted. I always rated qawalis outdated but now I realize its true worth. This heals my wounds and I can smell mitti di khushbu in their voice.
