It's funny because a kid in my school killed themselves and supposedly in their note they said how the pressure of homework was too much, so the teachers talked to us saying not to put as much pressure on us, and then gave the usually big load of homework that caused the entire situation. This song can hit home for most of us. From what I can interpret, this song is pretty much a mirror being held up to (from what I can presume) the Japanese school system, or schooling system in general; how much stress schools just love to push onto kids, expecting them to learn everything on a dime, and kids breaking under such pressure. Kids trying to keep up with their passions, wanting to grow up into something they'd love to do but due to schools constantly wanting kids to learn a whole lot of shit, and sometimes those things aren't really needed in daily life outside of school and oddly specific situations, they lose the drives they originally had for their original dreams. Sure, this may not be the meaning, and I'm just interpreting this song that way, but I think that's what makes this song powerful.
