You just have to hate the snowball effect. Everything going downhill gets gathered up and lands at the bottom in one ugly mess. Your team has been instrumental in getting this mess sorted and hoping it stays that way for a long time. Great job!!!!

So will they just have to have regular cleaning of the drains? Or replace the pipes? I love watching the camera work. Watching the grease being blasted and the clean pipes afterwards is very satisfying. Your team work is great also. I am sure the customer was very happy with your work and a lot more relaxed afterwards.

If they stop pouring grease down the drains they will be fine i guess

It's so crazy the number of people who throw grease into the drains. It's one thing if it's just due to washing an oily pan or something, but to throw that much grease? Should always go in the trash. Ffs. Good job y'all--you really helped everyone out there.

wow, 6' 1 1/2" is quite tall for a korean! i'm 6'4" (193cm) myself. i'm afraid that contributed to people feeling frightened or scared by me. i was constantly being told i look angry, even when i was out having a good time with friends. pretty sure being a non-korean US soldier didnt help. anyway, thank you for uploading. these videos make me nostalgic for korea, and i've come to realize it's the only place in the world (that i've been to,) where i feel as comfortable as i do in my ancestral homeland, the appalachian foothills.

Wow, that guy is TALL! I'm five feet tall, sure wish I had some of his tall!!! I never throw grease down my drain, after it cools, I put it in a jar, zip lock bag or something else and put it in the garbage! Smh! 🙄🤦♀️
@dracoknight90663 жыл бұрын
That slope though... Honestly considering how often they get clogged upthey should probably do a group fundraiser to redo the pipes. Even your amazing job will give them maybe two years and then they'll need to either get you again or another plumbing team that is as meticulous in their approach, I don't think that's good solution in the long term. Your height puts those videos into perspective. You all look so tiny on the videos, but apparently it's just the pipes being big. I'm probably smaller than even the shortest one of you guys >.

Why is it always grease clogging up?
@LoneStarCowboy12 жыл бұрын
Because grease clogs drains when grease gets to room temperature it hardens. That’s why they say never dump grease down your drains cause it will just clog it up your have to spend a boat load of money to unclog it.
@staciecarrel44922 жыл бұрын
Any fat really: lard, schmaltz, tallow, suet, Mayo, butter, nut butter, coconut oil, ghee, etc. if it’s not completely liquid at room temperature, it doesn’t go down the drain. And even then, the liquid cooking oils should also be kept out of the drains because after awhile of being exposed to air, they will oxidize, and their oxidized versions are thick and goopy too. Also starchy things like rice, pasta, noodles, bread, mashed potatoes can stick to the walls of the pipe too. So if there’s even the slightest hint of a dip in the plumbing they will gather and block it just as well. Toilet paper and poop dissolve in water, so they’re fine for drains in most places.

Okay, so is it actually grease? Like cooking grease? I don't understand what could make these giant deposits of... Whatever those are!
@klaernie3 жыл бұрын
It was soft in the water when it went down the sink, but when bad flow doesn't allow it to pass completely it will harden again, collect in a spot where the flow doesn't pull it away, and then you get these big blobs of grease.
@TsunauticusIV3 жыл бұрын
Search “sewer fatbergs”. Watch some of those vids. 😂 some large sewers get such huge blobs of fat and grease that they look like icebergs. It’s crazy. Also... in China some people harvest the sewer fat and then cook it down and filter it. They sell is as cooking oil. 🤢
@ZoahPorre3 жыл бұрын
microwave some butter in a cup, and put some water in it after, youll see the butter coagulate into something similar lol...and especially multiple households after cleaning dishes and etc.
@staciecarrel44922 жыл бұрын
@@ZoahPorre it takes more than the little drizzle left in a plate, bowl, or pan after draining to do this. These are people pouring an entire meal’s worth of grease down the drain. They need to pour it out into a container, or let it cool and scrape it out into the garbage, then wipe the pot/pan out with multiple rags/paper towels and throw them away. The little bit left over after you do all that is easily handled by dish soap if you don’t skimp on it.
