(as that's what movie/tv show makeouts seem to often look like...) eww, no... though I will accept a cuddle if I'm in the mood or press up against someone I like when I sit next to them. It's kind of like how people got super mad that Loki is canonically gender fluid and gives zero f**** what pronouns you use for him, but it's actually cannon in the actual mythology of the actual Norse gods that Loki can turn into a woman and does so willingly along with also turning into a female horse and getting pregnant among other things. But get over it Loki has both the lady bits and the man bits or neither depending on his mood.

really? people are challanging the edda....? that text was written down over 1000 years ago and before that passed on in the oral tradition for even longer. and it has some beautiful philosohpic and life hack/psychological helpful stuff in it. propably because it was passed on from mind to mind for so long... got boiled down to just the best bits. I do get angry though when marvel (whenever I accedentally watch someting marvel) completely screws the myths up. call me oldfahioned but I prefer loki to be odin's blood brother. and actually I prefer odin to be les high and mighty and more scetchy and getting some beating every now and then... bloody sugarcoating and softwashing...

Thank you so much for covering topics on Bisexuality. I've known I've been bi since I was pre-teen but it's always felt weird to come out as bi because of the assumptions about bi people. Going into how a lot of people consider Lady Gaga to be "such a great ally" that's how I feel a lot of times ("just an ally") because I tend to date men, but am still attracted to women and non-binary people. Your bi content is helping me be more confident in my identity. Thank you! Also, I love all of your videos on trans topics as well. I identify as a cis woman but have had lots of questions about what it's like to be trans and don't have much courage to ask my trans friends mostly because I don't want to offend by saying the wrong things. Because of your videos, I've been learning more answers to questions I'm too afraid to ask (at least on the FtM side) and also how to word things correctly for if I do want to ask trans friends about their experiences. Thank you again!

I’m not sure High School Musical being a metaphor for bisexuality was intentional but I do know that the director was gay, they’ve said in the years since it came out that Ryan being gay was 100% what they intended, and although I don’t think they’ve ever confirmed it officially, as a myriad of analysis videos have noted I Don’t Dance was most definitely about Ryan pushing Chad to experiment with his sexuality (“I’ll show you how I swing” lol come on). So like it’s not…impossible. There’s definitely *a vibe* if nothing else.

Also a lot of people interpret Ryan's dad as homophobic-not blatantly but more like a "I'm ok with gays but not MY son" way-because of something that happens consistently throughout the sequel. Because Kenny Ortega couldn't out right say that Ryan was gay when the HSM movies came out, he layered the queer coding on thick. For example his love of theatre and more specifically dance, his more camp behaviour, the way he dressed, e.t.c. I'm gonna focus on the clothing a bit, specifically his hat. Because everything about his outfit was a symbol of him being gay, him wearing the hat on an angle would be no exception. Ryan's dad straightens the hat and Ryan puts it back on an angle throughout HSM2. Of course this could just be a dad "not being with the times" (like how some parents don't get ripped jeans). However because so much of what Ryan wears, and does-including a singing a song that's supposedly about baseball and dance-I wouldn't be surprised if the hat thing is another analogy for Ryan being gay and for his dad wanting him to be straight/being in denial about Ryan being gay.

I got SO MUCH SHADE for confessing I sometimes call myself a lesbian when I'm actually asexual and homoromantic. Apprently it was very wrong to call yourself your romantic attraction and this person was very having a go at me. Most of the time it's no one's buisness what my sexual orientation is, but who I date is a lot more relevant. And to aquaintances it's a lot easier and more relevant to come out as who I'm dating - only girls - therefore as a lesbian, than having to explain asexuality and intimate parts of my sex life and feelings and libido and all kinds of things that COULD come up since they've never heard of asexuality. SO much easier for me to just say lesbian and continue the conversation, and the day I get a girlfriend I will be seen as a lesbian by by-passers. I'm not ashamed the slightest of my asexuality, but sometimes it's not relevant to talk about sex, and often I don't want to explain real personal information. My closer friends and family know I'm ace and have no problems with it.

As a straight, cis woman in my 40s, I was last single in the 90s, and back then I found the idea of seeing a bisexual guy uncomfortable because I felt they'd have needs I couldn't meet. I honestly don't know how I'd feel now, but I'm glad the younger generations are feeling freer.
