Got it for christmas with the pmayers guide. Here in Canada we had a department store called Zellers. For some reason it was in the flyer for 34.99 so i got my mom to get my best friend and I a copy. We both got the nintendo power guide as well. I kept at it till i could get orchids 52 hit combo. Playin on ludicrous speed was rough with the AI mashing combo breakers.

We won't be seeing Conker on the family friendly NSO, chances of this happening are near to 0. The others though (especially DKR) I really hope this is the beginning of rareware glory coming to the online service.

@@Sponsie1000 They did. Next console is supposed to be fully backwards compatible, software and hardware wise, with the current switch. All purchases are expected to transfer over especially once Nintendo switched over to a Nintendo online account that isn't tied to a specific console.

@@captainnomekop5056 tough luck for you, I guess… If someone has a Switch, I’d assume they also have a cellphone or computer, and it’s fairly easy to Tun a GBA emulator on either. If you don’t want to do that, then you’re just a snob who think is “morally wrong” to do such a thing. Playing the ROM is the way to go; it’s been up for years, so my guess is: Nintendo dont care about it like they do with their more revenueable IPs.

NAH cigars are better value for money and they are fun unlike NSO which is crap of the highest order. I would have more fun playing chicken on the highway with the traffic. Never played ONE SINGLE GAME since it started and have ZERO intention of doing so in the future. Started crap is crap and will end as crap when Nintendo flushes it down the Toilet and the saddest part? Your basic VIDEO SHOP hired out a better range then this back in the day and was better value for money

Damn. Imagine if there was a community made localization project for Mother 3, with localization notes that are freely downloadable by anyone, made by a group that have said they would happily hand over the notes to Nintendo for free if they wanted to make an official localization. Imagine what those notes and a few months could do to your NSO Expansion sales outside of Japan.

Fun Fact for all you Conker fans, Chris Seavor who voiced Conker did the sounds for Spinal in the original Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2, Before he left Rare Ltd and David Robert Donatucci took over in the 2013 version of Killer Instinct for Xbox One, PC, And Xbox Series X/S.

Many people have been asking about Mother 3 release in the US. Now they are disappointed that Japan got the game for the SNES online service first. Japan always get the good stuff first before the US.

Very glad to see more classic Rare games being ported over. I've actually been looking for a way to play Battletoads in Battlemaniacs for a while now (without relying on unofficial emulation) so I'm really glad to see it's on here now, although I don't get why they skipped over the NES Battletoads.

Correct me if I am wrong, Killer Instinct for SNES is NOT on Rare replay right? I think the Arcade version is but jot the SNES. If so, this is its first re-release ever.

Killer Instinct Gold is included in Rare Replay. The arcade games are included as a bonus for Killer Instinct Definitive Edition on Xbox One, or available to play on Xbox Game Pass.

For those who are still waiting for DK64, Diddy Kong Racing and Banjo-Tooie, please be patient. Jet Force Gemini also released on NSO+ExP a few months ago and now we have 5 more games from Rare. It's still early for 2024 and there will be more later ahead.

@@billbolt9458 the super switch has it and the standard one doesn't. Wii will follow later and the super switch exclusive 3rd nso tier is probably $120 a year and doesn't include available remasters. This tier probably drops to $40 a year and removes all dlc and sega genesis nso. The trademark controller leak confirmed the feature so we know it's happening and is coming March 2025.

Please add more Rareware games we still need Banjo-Tooie, Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Killer Instinct Gold, Battletoads, Banjo Pilot, Saber Wulf, It's Mr. Pants, Banjo-Kazooie Gruntilda's Revenge, Cobra Triangle, and the Wizards & Warriors games. And there's no reason why Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, and the Donkey Kong Land games haven't been added yet.

While I had other (legal) ways of playing most of these games, I did not have a way to play Battletoads in Battlemaniacs so seeing it announced here is music to my ears!
