Adventure with Kier Foley, Educator Liaison, from Educational Passages to hear how students can work together to prepare, deploy, and track their own mini boat while learning about currents, weather, technology, and more! Bring community science to your classroom as you follow along the journey of completed boats and learn about ways to practice engineering and increase stewardship in the 2024 Recycle Regatta.
Virtually jump onboard The 60’ sailing research vessel, American Promise, and hear how Rozalia Project protects and cleans the ocean using technology, innovation, solutions-based research, and engaging STEM programs. Join Co-Founder Rachael Miller to explore how the Rozalia Project educates and empowers students to take action against marine debris around the US. Receive training on how to use the Marine Debris Tracker App and Cleanup Cards to use with the future Marine Debris NESS - B-WET Lesson Plan, which will be released on October 21st.
