@@jessecarter1924 that literally makes no sense. Not everyone is a songwriter. Some people are just singers. As I said before, most artists don’t even write their own songs. She’s not the first to have a group of writers that help her make her songs and she definitely won’t be the last. Doesn’t mean she’s not talented 🤷‍♀️

It completely makes sense a artist creates art, they don't take others art. Its like me reading a Dr. Suess book, am I talented for knowing how to read or is the writer who created the art talented?

@@jessecarter1924 I don’t think reading and singing are exactly comparable. Everyone can read, not everyone can sing. Singing is literally a skill that people go to classes to perfect. As you would with other talents such as playing an instrument or even songwriting. I also think your reasoning invalidates the talent of many singers out there. There are so many famous songwriters that happily write songs for singers to sing and get paid good money to. This way, their talent is being shown through their songwriting (which they do get credited for btw) and the singer shows their talent through their voice and what they can do with it. Also, just as not all singers can write songs, not all songwriters can sing because their TALENT resides in songwriting and not singing.
