they were referring more to the music video than the song itself - there are undeniable similarities between the music videos, you'd have to be stupid to deny that she has taken inspiration (which isn't a bad thing, per say) from Madison's video. paired with the song itself, which does have many similarities in terms of the musicality, vocals and instrumentals, i can definitely see WHY people assume she "copied" - they are in fact very similar. that's not to say i don't agree with you - the hate is unnecessary.

However, I will say that her lyrics should definitely be taken more into consideration. Nessa herself said it hurt when ppl said this but didn't notice her song's lyrics. That’s why I was just surprised that the song wasn’t necessarily more complex, but that in NO WAY is a hate comment AS I ALSO MADE THAR CLEAR. And even if you perceived that comment as hate, you shouldn’t fight fire with fire and use derogatory terms at me without reason
