Well done guys. Well made. Esp, the dance steps took me to another world. Do Nepalese of today's generation know that our country was very rich in classical music and classical dance back in the old days? While classical music from the Kathmandu valley was very much respected even by ustads in Indian classical music back then, people couldn't preserve it like the Indians did with the Indian classical music in different states there. Malshree is one of the best Nepali classic music composition for me. Another downside for the current generation is, even if they search "nepali classical" music, they'll mostly end up with old Nepali songs, which can be called classic but they're no way classical music. On the other hand, many have not heard about Nepal classical dance as it was lost because our great grand parents and their parents were brainwashed to think, females dancing was not appropriate. So, all that is left are some basic dance steps. It's sad. [ FYI, Indian classical dances were all preserved by women ] Will Nepali Classical Music unfortunately die is the big question. @Sagar Giri Well, This is the POINT here. All the languages that are spoken in Nepal are Nepali/Nepalese as the adjective of Nepal. The Ranas forcefully called it Nepali. It is NOT JUSTIFIED. It is DISCRIMINATORY. It was once called Parbatiye because it was PARBATIYE HINDI language. If you look at its origin. It is SINZA Valley. It was Khas Jumli language. We the Newar still call it Khas language because of its ORIGIN. Sometimes it was called GORKHA language because of GORKHA state Expantion. How many times was its name changed from its travel to Nepal (Kathmandu) Valley from Sinza Valley ???? NOT FAR FROM than 500 KM. But English language is still called English language even it travelled very much from England to India, Autralia, CANADA and USA. But why Khas Jumli language have changed its name so many times ???? It must be called in its ORIGINAL name as any other language does. Calling Nepali only to Khas Jumli language is the CRIME AGAINST the HUMANITY because it is KILLING other Nepali/Nepalese language. For the SHAKE of all the Nepali/Nepalese people, for the SKAKE OF All the Nepali/Nepalese languageshake of all the Nepalese culture, we have to call it it its ORIGINAL NAME namely Khas Jumli language. Otherwise, Nepal will be still APARTHEID STATE as in SHAH RULES, RANA RULES, PANCHAYAT RULE and pre-WAR rule and now post- war rule. LET'S CHANGE its NAME TO ANY OF KHAS OR KHAS JUMLI OR PARBATIYA OR PARBATIYA HINDI OR GORKHA LANGUAGE.

Thanks Deepanjali, this video was shot in one of the oldest town of Bhaktapur viz 'Thimi' (this place is under world heritage in order to preserve Newa culture and traditions). Did you get that two sentences in Newa language. Spread the Newari culture and the language among Newar community in Sikkim. I Miss Kathmandu a lot!! With lots of old houses ! Our jatras! Lapte bhwe.... newari foods!! Coming to America I realized there is no culture here !! American culture is all about running to work to pay bills and always stressing out! And at the end of the month nothing much is left after taxes! Being a nurse I pay $4000/ month in taxes!! Omg working so hard running 12 hrs every day in the hospital dealing with the crazy patient!! And drug addicts who barely pay respect to nurse and doctors !! And saving all goes to Expenses! After watching this I feel NEPAL Is the country where lies the real happiness! Afno desh nai pyaro! I heard nepal Ma ta barsa Ma ekchoti matra tax tire pugcha! :)
